This game looks fantastic and felt like a great reason to justify having bought a Kinnect. However, I really crave tight controls for my shooters. Yes, I realize this game can be played with a controller, but isn't the point of Kinnect games to be played using motion controls? Being a big fan of this genre, this was a great addition based on design and visuals. Ultimately though it is stripped down and lacking the depth of a lot of other games of this type. It's worth renting. You can knock it out in a weekend then decide for yourself.

I only played the demo., but I immediately felt that Pixel Junk Eden is 1,000 times better in every way. The concepts were similar, but Eufloria was very tough to wrap my head around or be immersed in compared to Eden's excellence. I'll not write a review for Eden here, but this was my immediate impression.

I only played through the first level of the demo., but I really did not feel this game was worth playing further. The art style is sharp and looks nice. The character designs are different and interesting, but the gameplay mechanics felt like this was designed for mobile touch gaming or potentially Move. If this was designed for Move, then I suggest you play it that way because it felt really lackluster with the standard controller. As for the action, the puzzles were boring, the controls for the fights were pretty lose... All in all, there seems to be plenty better PSN games to spend your time/money on.
