Saved

Sound more than a little like FX's "Rescue Me"? Absolutely.

"Saved" is a show with a good cast, interesting concept and a fast-paced, stylized approach that never quite reaches its potential.

Wyatt's story falls together a little too neatly.

The opening crises just feel phony and forced -- as does everything else, from the humor to the drama to the bleached-out colors.

Given that it wants to seem edgy and quirky, "Saved" is remarkably rich in cliché... Still, it's no worse than average and has Tom Everett Scott in it, which is a nice thing for TV viewers.

A flashy but derivative medical drama.

It tries to be edgy but misses by a mile.
