Cricket 22
Cricket 22 is without any hint of doubt, the best representation of one of the oldest, and best, sports around, but if Big Ant want to take the next step, to reach the summit and join the sporting sim elite, there is still more to be done.
There’s an absolute treasure trove of licensed content, spanning both men’s and women’s teams, with only the lucrative Indian Premier League the notable omission. However, a robust creation suite means fans will be able to create any missing players or clubs and share them online, which should plug any small gaps that do exist...The biggest downside, then, is just the underlying lack of budget: cricket is popular enough, but it’s not baseball, and it’s clear that Big Ant Studios just didn’t have the resources to nail key gameplay mechanics, like fielding, which feels flat and unrealistic due to the limited selection of animation cycles in its library.
Though its held back by rough production values and gameplay inconsistencies, Cricket 22 is a decent enough game that fans of the sport should enjoy.

Downgrade graphics gameplay is ok and career mode needs a lot of improving it kind of gets boring within a few hours and if they could add more license teams that would be nice but other than the game is nice

This is easily the worst game I've played in years. Graphics are from ps2 era, commentary is hilariously off, gameplay is average at best, and trying loading community assests just loads infinitely. Everything about this game is bad. I liked cricket 19 on Nintendo switch, so tried 22 now on ps5 but just couldn't stand it after an hour of play or so.

This game was a mess when launched last year... after many, many patches (they patch it every week at this stage) it has improved greatly, though still is far from the 'perfect' cricket game we'd all love to have. If you are a cricket fanatic and can look past the rough edges, give it a go :)

While it had a few flaws and some issues, Cricket 22 is a good game overall.

The low budget is obvious throughout but the game is clearly trying its best, with a great gameplay experience and an impressive array of options and licences.

The usual issues in undercooked cricket games. Little more than a money grab on the part of publishing studio. Same issues every release. They just never get these games right. Cricket deserves better.
