Fun game but is it really as good as the hype? No. If this had come out 15 years ago then maybe you could understand but it seems like a pretty ordinary platformer. Graphics nothing to shout about, gameplay is quite slick, and we still don't have proper voice acting for all characters, including DK himself. You simply can't charge full price for these games given all the above.

Greatest PS2 game ever made. Was revolutionary at the time doing away with the map and the graphics at the time were excellent. The story and production was a bit Essex gangster b-movie but that'sthe charm. One that desperately needs a remake!
