Absolutely stunning and fun game. It is such an unique racing game. The only one where you can destroy the scenary onto your oponents and totally modify the track routes for every racer in each lap. When that happens, it never feels like you're on the same track. Love this game. Waiting anxiously until it goes backward compatible on Xbox One.

An amazing surprise for an indie game. Storytelling is great, and you feel like you're really at the moon. It is a great narrative single player game and you just can't stop playing it till the end. Of course it could be more imaginative in terms gameplay and puzzles, bit it maser itself in making you believe in the story itself.

It's good. It's fun. It's a bit challenging, but it has a lot of flaws. Camera is a bit limited and annoyng, traversal in vertical grounds can prove challenging but not in a good way from a gameplay perspective, you simply have to deal with the games phsysics system rather than enjoy yourself through a well designed platforming section. But overall it is an enjoyable game. The flaws don't take away the fun at all. Recommend it.

After one year playing this game I can tell it is more joyful playing the multiplayer bit instead of the campaign, which is a shame since all it's predecessors (except Judgement) had strong and compelling narratives. It failed to build connection between players and the characters as they were too shallow except Marcus Fenix. The games starts with fighting against robots, and it doesn't feel as good as killing the real monsters, and I was afraid the game would keep that narrative of outlaws against the government robotic army. Fortunately it didn't and the game got significantly better after the initial chapters. It was a lot more fun to play as the gameplay diversified from chapter to chapter and it was good, but not excellent. They could have done more, but I think they preferred to keep it safe. Probably the risky part they'd dared to make was the robot thing and that was awkward enough. After finishing the campaign I thought to myself: "Hm, nice". It wasn't spectacular, but it was good enough. But after trying the horde mode with my friends, I instantly knew that the game they have built was not focusing at all on the campaign. And I felt a bit disappointed, not by the multiplayer cause it is a lot of fun, but by the notion that I would never be playing a good gears of war campaign anymore. Their focus are on service and online play, not narratives. I feel that if want good narratives I should go look somewhere away from Microsoft.

A good journey to start and finish on a Sunday evening. Gameplay is simple but not perfect but, still good and fun. Story is engaging and compelling, but disappointed me a bit at the end, leaving me without further explanations. But it's not a forgettable journey at all, as you start wondering by the end of the game just how it would be like if it was an AAA game.

People expect this game to be realistic in every manner. It's not it's purpose. If you want realism, go play Forza 6. Forza Horizon 3 looks real but feels magical. Driving over the water and making spectacular high jumps without killing yourself or your car is all but real. It's all about fun, and this game is a hell lot of fun. Drop your expectations and just have fun.
