I don't understand why this game gets so much hate. If you like persona and you like rhythm games, it really can't hurt to try it. It's got some really nice remixes and a control scheme I personally think is quite unique for a console rhythm game. Also, they somehow managed to create a story mode for this game that makes at least a little bit of sense. I liked it a lot.

Felt like playing a **** game for pride so I picked up this free visual novel. I like Victorian lesbians a lot, it's one of my favourite tropes, but this game really didn't hit like I hoped it would. First of all, I feel like the game would have been a lot better if the modern parts of the story were cut entirely. Toma as a character is boring and gets no development, and they infodump a lot of information at the start about her and her family that has absolutely no relevance to the plot. The middle part of the game focusing on the romance between Emmeline and Cordelia had potential, but it was rushed to a detrimental degree. Cool idea, could have worked if it wasn't written like fanfiction.

What a game, oh my god. The ending, especially, had my heart pounding the whole way through. Great story, great characters, and to top it all off the game is dripping with style. I can't recommend playing this enough.

The game itself is really good! I love the open world aspect and the story and characters, for a Pokemon game, are incredible. However, it's hard to overlook the graphical issues and the lack of level scaling makes it really hard to enjoy the open world. This is a step in the right direction for the Pokemon franchise, but if they really want to tap into the open world thing they have a lot of things to improve on.

As a theatre kid, I really wanted to like this game. To be fair, I did enjoy it quite a bit, but I also couldn't help feeling let down by it. The entire main story took me just 7 hours to complete, which doesn't sound too bad until you think about the transformations and how many of them they tried to pack into this short game. Each transformation had 3 levels, which doesn't really give any of them enough time to feel fleshed out and interesting. However, I found the overall aesthetics really cute, and I could play a whole game of just ice skater peach or ninja peach if one existed. Peach's next smash bros set is going to be insane thanks to this game. The gameplay is also extremely fun, and is also pretty easy even for a Nintendo title. This is a game I could've seen myself pouring hours into as a child. It also feels quite unfair to review this game without mentioning the performance issues. The levels run fine, but this game really doesn't like loading screens. Overall I'd give it a 6/10, it's worth a go if you're looking for something to play.

Let me start this review by saying that this game is unbelievably hard. I've played through 2 years in my main free play save, I've released 41 singles (yes I counted) and currently have 3 shows ongoing, all of which make a profit, and I still don't make enough money in a week to even cover rent. My business staying open is entirely reliant on loans from Fujimoto. If you're into difficult management sims, this is for you. If you like relaxing experiences and don't enjoy being stressed about money, maybe give this one a miss. Other than the difficulty, this game is really cute. I have played it for 20 hours over the past 3 days or so, and I still feel like pulling an all-nighter to play more. It's super addicting. I love growing my idol business and seeing which girls are successful and which are not. The election feature is my personal favourite, and I do enjoy concerts quite a bit. If you can get past the difficulty, or are happy to just play on easy mode where money and debt don't matter, then I totally recommend this game! It's a shame it doesn't have more fans, it's adorable and so fun.

It shouldn't be possible to enjoy working a minimum wage job, and yet here we are. If you enjoyed the original Papa's Freezeria flash game, it's basically just that but a million times better. It's got a very cozy and relaxing vibe, and I loved every second of playing it. Totally recommend for the price!

If you enjoy Bitlife, you'll love this game. It's super cute, I love watching my little character grow up and taking them down the different paths available in the game. I think the most standout part is definitely the characters. I think I've encountered all of them by now, and they're all so so compelling. You really start to root for them and want to see the best in them. My favourite was Flick. Honestly, I recommend playing the game for Flick alone, I cried real tears over her. My only real problem with the game is that the difficulty when you get to high school is INSANE. I haven't managed to complete a single run without letting one of my stats drop to zero at least once, typically multiple times. I seriously can't emphasise enough how much the difficulty spikes in the last stage of the game. It's still really fun though, you should definitely give it a try.

I was disappointed in this game. On paper, it's exactly the kind of thing I like: an anime-style story with cool female characters and an interesting, fantasy-adjacent premise. I'm a massive anime fan, and I love stories about fantasy sports with a variety of characters to connect to and root for. However, the warning of 'every character depicted in the game is over 18' gave me red flags right from the get go. There are outwardly sexual scenes and moments with characters that, despite the warning, are visibly underage. I played Asuka's route, who is a second year at a Japanese high school and therefore can be assumed to be between 16 and 17 years old, and was extremely uncomfortable with the scenes of this nature. I am sickened by the thought of Mashiro's route, who is a first year (15-16 years old) and is visibly younger than the other girls, fitting the stereotype of childlike, 'loli' girl. However, the sexually explicit moments are few and far between, and if you have played a lot of anime games or consumed a lot of anime in general, you may be desensitised to it and be able to enjoy the story of the game. The story is actually pretty good. I did find myself rooting for and getting attached to each of the characters, especially the MC. However, while playing the game I found that the chapters dragged on for longer than I thought they needed to. By the time I reached the final chapter of the game, I was just waiting for the experience to be over. Also, there are very few choices for a visual novel/dating sim game. I ended up on Asuka's route by complete accident. Throughout the whole game, there were less than five choices that you could make to influence the route that your character takes and which girl you end up with at the end. In conclusion, the game is ok if you can get past the sexual moments. It's perfectly acceptable, but you might as well just watch the anime due to the lack of actual gameplay and choice.

My favourite game of all time. If you enjoyed Wii Sports Resort you'll love this game, because they're very similar except this game has the ability to explore the island. To be honest, the majority of the fun comes from exploring the island. 10/10 totally recommend! Please play this game, it's so cute and relaxing!
