Can we stop shoehorning political wet dreams into everything already? As someone who grew up in an extremely diverse community, this doesn’t even remotely reflect a believable reality. It’s what a rich person living in an only superficially diverse elite enclave thinks a diverse reality looks like. Impossible to get into this game.

Ignoring the apparent micro-transaction controversy, I found this game clunky and unconvincing. The stealth mode wasn't at all intuitive, and the mechanics of the take downs and combat just felt awkward. While I understand the story, there was so much to dislike about the basic mechanics of the game. I found myself constantly being pulled out of the story due to the stupidity and unrealistic nature of the movements. I give this game a four because I can see there is potential here. It's a beautiful world they have created, and the modeling and aesthetics of the game are outstanding.

I bought Far Cry Primal with low expectations. It was in the used bin and I have never really enjoyed past Far Cry games. This title turned me around. The beautiful open world format, combined with great aesthetics and truly enjoyable mechanics allowed me to get lost in this game for many hours. After a few dozen hours, aspects of the gameplay did become a little repetitive and something ****. The overly simple hunting comes to mind. It's not as deep as something like Red Dead or GTA, but it was an interesting enough experience to be in this world for me to give this a solid thumbs up.

I'm a totally neutral FPS player and have enjoyed both COD and BF in the past. After playing BF1 for the last year or so, switching to this felt like playing a game from the 90s. There is simply no realism in the mechanics, the history, or even the sound effects. I felt zero immersion when playing this game. I was seriously hyped about this title, more than I have been about any other for a long time, and I was severely disappointed. After playing the game both in campaign and online for a couple of hours, I am going to return it today. More than disappointing — this is just a bad game.
