The puzzles are very difficult. Sometimes it’s invigorating to solve them, but they usually take way too long to figure out. Often they feel contrived. They are not intuitive nor clever. You sometimes feel like you have to read the designer’s mind, the clues are that bad. The story line is the only thing that made me want to continue with it.

This is a really fun game. First game I ever platinum'd. It is short in duration from start to finish, so the daily commitment isn't grueling like some other games - I can usually start and finish a game in under an hour. Almost everything about the game is different each time one plays (rogue-like), which makes it a real hoot. The biggest problem I have with the game is that it crashes when playing on the PS4 - this happens a lot during the Daily Challenge which is extremely frustrating and disappointing. Other than that, it's one of the best games I've ever played in my entire life (been playing video games since the 80's.)

I had a lot of fun playing this game in the first couple of weeks I owned it, but it didn't hold up well. I eventually got bored playing it. It's a fairly simple game, very easy to pick up and go with. I really like the design of the game and their use of color along with the ASCII characters. Almost everything is black and white, (caves have a green tint to them), so items of color really stand out and grab your attention. Water is blue, fire is orange and so forth. I wish the camera could be moved a bit better, maybe 360, or further in any given direction. That being said, I love how responsive all the controls work. I am real stickler for controls that work well and these controls do not disappoint! I co-op'ed local last night and it was very challenging to say the least. For local co-op, I would have to give the game a rating of maybe a 4 or 5 right now. Both players have to share the same screen and it can become really problematic because if one character is further away then you can't move your own character out of a poisonous gas cloud, or jump away from an enemy, let's say. There just isn't enough room and sometimes the game moves too fast which makes local co- op problematic. I think the local co-op would work MUCH better if each player were given a split screen and weren't tethered to one another.

Great game! Very fun, and relaxing at the same time. The story **** you in and you forget about your daily life for a while. The puzzles are too few and too easy, but the game was still enjoyable. The controls were just a little wonky, probably better than the average indie game, with some room for improvement. I would play a sequel if one is ever released.

This is a very pretty and highly stylized game, but ultimately a button masher that lacks any challenge. I can see how it might be more fun on a tablet.

The story is a lot of fun, but the puzzles are contrived and convoluted. What's worse is that the controls are beyond infuriating. Spending several minutes trying to get the character to move in the direction of the controller over and over again, in more than one scene, strongly encouraged me to quit playing. The game play is an untenable exercise of patience. Plus, it has some pretty major problems with crossing the line (camera angles.).

This game was so much fun that I have since bought a PS3 and a PS4 for myself. (I was playing on my SO's machine.) This game basically got me back into playing video games - I haven't owned a console since the PS2 and gamecube were new. (I do wish I could have skipped the asylum level because it scared me ... but YMMV.) I hope to see a sequel out soon.

I really wanted to like this game but the lack of control over the character's movement is so bad that I couldn't even get through the first level after the tutorial. He jumps when I intend him to run or walk or while trying to be stealthy - it's exceedingly frustrating.
