Watching Seven Seconds stirred something deep in me — including what I can only describe as more primal, almost ancestral feelings. Series that evoke this kind of emotional response — and I believe not only in me — go beyond mere entertainment. They should be regarded as genuine social critiques: narratives that portray a fictional world, yet closely mirror the society we actually live in — one where individuals fight to claim what they believe is theirs, at any cost, often under the guise of “doing good.” There are few, if any, clichés, which makes the story feel raw, grounded, and entirely plausible. The narrative also leaves several threads unresolved, without harming the experience; instead, these open points could naturally serve as foundations for future stories, expanding the universe through new arcs. Highly recommended. Translated from Portuguese (Brazil) using AI.
