I find this show to be a refreshing antidote to so many of the other period projects. An anti-Bridgerton right when we need it. The cast is great and boy do they embrace the limited series ethos. Characters can die! A lot of action in eight episodes! I love the actors speaking in their own accents rather than everybody straining every muscle to create something that doesn't remotely relate to 14th century Tuscan region. I recommend watching it and having some fun.

Although it has the word teenage in it, the humor is fun for all ages. Excellent twists along the way.

I watched Season 1 and love it and anyone I recommend it to felt the same. Season 2 was equally enjoyable and I was pleasantly surprised by their ability to keep it feeling fresh.

Having watched all three episodes, I know to expect the unexpected. I enjoy being taken to a different place each week with completely different stories and even genres. It's great to see these actors being given the chance to perform such distinct roles in just one episode. Rather than picking things apart, I am kind of just kicking back and enjoying. I recommend checking it out and viewing it on its own terms.
