Amazing story game where your choices truly matter. The story grows on you, and you do begin to really care for the characters, and it has heaps of replayability due to how different playthroughs can be. When I first heard about the premise of following another player I didn't really know how to feel it, but it is executed extremely well, and it does help with the replayability factor because their choices do really affect your playthrough. If anyone is coming here from Road 96 (which by the way is my favourite game of all time), here are some comparisons. Even though I loved the story and vibe of this game, it isn't quite on the level of Road 96, especially early into the game. One thing they heavily improved on from Road 96 is how much your choices do make a difference, and you have heaps of power over the story. I don't know whether people would agree with me on this but I honestly think the soundtrack is on the same level. It really helps with the vibe the game is going for, and really adds to the atmosphere. Also, there is a lot of really fun gameplay outside of just the choices. There is a lot of time spent in your boat, where you can explore, fight other boats and race. It feels very smooth to control and it's great to have some fun in. I give this game a 9/10, I enjoyed it a lot. If anyone wants to follow me - 8924-3446

Road 96: Mile 08

A short and sweet prequel to Road 96 which adds a lot to the already beautiful story. Although, I do believe the game would have been better if it weren't for the inclusion of the 'ride' sections, in which small parts of the story are told in dream-like sections with the main characters riding on a skateboard or roller skates collecting orbs. I feel this was a distraction from what was actually going on and took away from it being a choices matter style game. Overall, I quite enjoyed Road 96: Mile 0 and would recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the original.

Great story that is sure to have you hooked, but even after your first playthrough and you know what happens, you'll still want to play this game over and over, and two playthroughs can be completely different because of all the choices you can make. Some scenes will make you laugh; some will make you emotional, and some will build up tension better than a lot of horror games. This game is an absolute must-play.
