This is absolutely horrific. The “handling” is among the very worst I've ever seen in a racing game and the cheating AI is simply ridiculous. This is literally 40 quid well wasted. Avoid at all costs and spend your money on something more worthwhile rather than this garbage.

I was so looking forward to play a nice little professional boxing game on the Wii. Wii Sports' boxing is great but its limited gameplay can only provide so much fun, so I was excited to have bought a more professional boxing game, or at least I thought it was professional anyway. To say I was disappointed is a crushing understatement. This game is a crisis, it's absolutely pitiful. The boxing animation is dreadful, the Wii controls don't work most of the time, the crowd is literally dead and when you're knocked down the game shows you a “now loading” screen as it has to physically load the count, in which he always seems to get up at 8 and then physically load the fight once again. Then it has to physically load the obligatory ring girl and then load the fight again. What a horrific waste of money this was, and it was at this precise moment that my love for the Nintendo Wii disintegrated.

From the moment I discovered this game bore similarities to Hang-On I knew I was going to dig this game and it did not disappoint. It's fun to play and pretty addicting too, but it is not without its flaws. Frame rate is iffy, there's a lack of modes within the game, the music is repetitive and gets old quickly and I suppose the gameplay feels that way in the long run too. Clearly it's not for everyone, but for me it's a very enjoyable racing game that pays homage to the good ol' days of arcade racing.

It looks cute and the story was intriguing but the slow paced killed me. I played this for an hour and I simply cannot play it anymore. The only reason you really need to play this is you can finish it and earn all the achievement in around three to four hours which would be a lot quicker if it doesn't take Rae 15 minutes to get from one side of the bridge to the other.. This and Overruled! serve as massive stains in Team 17's library.

Basically a poor man's Smash Brothers. The gameplay is uneventful and confusing, the single player challenges are a pain and dull and the frame rate leaves a lot to be desired. This is a really poor effort and a right blemish on Team 17's catalogue.

Fun retro style racing game with plenty of charm and thrills. I hoped this would be good when I bought it, it did not disappoint. Handling can be an issue at times but nevertheless it's still a very enjoyable racing game, especially if you're a fan of retro graphics like me. Well worth a look.

Pro Evo 2018 is very well presented and plays about as realistically as you can get but the lack of licenses hurt its credentials and a clumsy interface as well as Master League being as boring as ever means it's not as mighty and flawless as PES once was. 2018 for me personally is certainly a step in the right direction in terms of gameplay and presentation but I can't help but think of the good old days of PES when it trumped all the footie competition and it was king of the sporting world, those days are long gone though.

This is a nice Space Invaders style shooter with a nice retro look and it plays pretty well with mulitple modes to choose from within the game. Its biggest problem however is it's one of the easiest completions on the Xbox One, it took me around 25 minutes to get all the achievements in the game, so most likely people will play this for only being a quick completion and then never play it again. Nevertheless if you like your retro shooters you will probably find some level of enjoyment with this game, but its shortness in gameplay and achievements will probably mean you won't be spending too much time with it, which is a shame really.

This one surprised me. I did not expect much from this but it's actually really good. It's simple to get into and it's very enjoyable. The whole game parodies horror films and the cutscenes do a great job of capturing the feel of a typical b-movie horror film. There's lot of characters to unlock which does require a significant amount of playtime to have enough coins to get them all and thus will get repetitive over time, but it is still a really fun game to play and one that totally caught me by surprise. Good stuff.

This looked like a game I could enjoy but ultimately it left me with a foul taste in my mouth, for the simple reason that the core gameplay does not work. You have to swap tiles to create a path to move towards the goal while also going towards enemies to fight and chests to open, but by the time you are stuck looking for the one tile you need to progress you end up getting close to getting hit and losing health. There are occassions where you will go towards an enemy to fight him but yet you won't even fight him even if he's sitting right next to you. The overall gameplay clearly wasn't thought out too well and it quickly becomes a mess. Avoid at all costs.

The idea is a very noble one but the execution however is lackluster. The handling is all over the place and the collision detection is questionable. It also lags from time to time during the race. This looked promising but it falls way short of what I hoped for. Massively disappointed with this one.

A pitiful excuse for a horse racing game that looks more suited for a PS2 rather than an Xbox One. The graphics are bad, the animation is horrendous and forget about the jump races because most of the time you won't even make the jump even if you time it perfectly. There have been many positives that have come with ID@Xbox but there have been some negatives along with it and this is one of the biggest negatives to come from this initiative.

This is a huge stepdown from the Tiger Woods PGA Tour games. The career is much weaker, the player creation options are dreadful and the whole game just feels very limited for what's supposed to be a PGA title. I'm just glad I got my game for much cheaper than it was originally because this was a huge waste of money. And now as it turns out this is the final EA PGA Tour game as they have lost the PGA license to HB Studios, and it's safe to say it hasn't gone out in a good way at all.

I know nothing about Baseball, I only downloaded it cause it was free on GWG and yet I love this game. It looks and plays superbly and the customisation options within the game add a whole new element of joy to it. I'm totally hooked into this game and now because of it I know the rules of Baseball. This game was free when I got it but take it from me, it's totally worth the paying you pay for this. Endless fun with this one. I doubt I'll play a better Baseball game than this in my life.

Easily one of the worst games I've played on Xbox One. Clearly rushed owing to the bugs it has, most notable on Freestyle mode. The handling in Race mode is nonexistent and it's too easy to get “wasted” on Freestyle mode. Hill Climb is the better mode but even then your patience will be exhausted as some of the courses are not well designed at all. Absolutely dreadful. How on earth did this get a commercial release?
