I am sure in 2001 this was an amazing game however it in no way stands up to the test of time. If you just saw this for sale on Steam just keep browsing.

This game is great as long as you don't play the main storyline. Lots of tailing missions. The ship to ship combat is pretty cool and one of my favorite aspects. Graphics are amazing as with every modern game. Story didn't hold my interest despite trying to watch all the cutscenes. You can tell this game was pushed out to make more money as with a little bit more time invested it could be amazing.

Completely linear storyline. Just save the money and watch the gameplay on Youtube because that is what you are paying for. This game is like Dead Space without any of the fun. The only reason these reviews are so positive is they are clearly fake users. If someone has just 1 review and it is calling this game a 9 then they are full of crap.

This is probably the most accurate game to "mechwarrior" style games. The controls are very easy to use and the brief tutorial explains everything very well. Graphics:9.5 very good as is expected with modern games My only complaints are that this game has no single player mode and that it suffers from the pay to play function. I would have been willing to pay actual money for this game but the in game purchases really make me not want to play it at all. Yes you can still seemingly unlock everything without paying for it but just the fact that it is in the game really kills it for me. I know this is the direction that games are heading and I wouldn't be surprised to get to the point where you can respawn for just .99 but I will not be playing games like that. Anyways this game is very good if you want a mech combat experience for free but be advised that there are some pay to unlock areas.

This game has so much potential, you can tell it was rushed to production since it is a Microsoft game. If it had a little more to it then I would rate this as 10/10 and one of my favorite games ever made. As it is it seems that this is the Beta version and that I am sure several DLC's will be coming out with the hopes of them maxing out profits. I purchased this game on sale on Steam for $10 and I think it is worth it. Had I paid $50 or more I would have been really mad as I said this game doesn't feel finished.

way too detailed, I spent a few hours trying to learn how to play and still am confused. I understand real armies have to deal with logistical support but in real life there are subordinate commanders to deal with those aspects. If you are a micromanaging 4 star general then this is the game for you. I really wanted to like this game too as I do enjoy American history and the game did seem to make every effort to remain true to history, but the super complex interface really killed the game for me.

just buy Dead Island instead. The "crafting" is tedious and the inventory is insanely small for a survival type game. I would suggest the developers make the inventory something like 50-60 slots instead of the 16 you get. It really gets old dropping items you may or may not need later. Overall it just wasn't fun and seemed more tedious than anything. I really wanted to like this game but sadly it didn't happen.
