This game is so much silly fun. Gets too much hate for being "different". I love the goofy cut scenes, the crazy spinning game mechanic and wild 70's aesthetic. Some games feel like the developers themselves had fun making it and it shows. Relax and just have fun with this hidden gem.

No Random Online Multiplayer matchups? Seriously? I agree with everything the critics are saying - much of the content was done better in previous iterations. How does that happen? Bowling was better in the original Kinect Sports released 4 years ago. Tennis was better and smoother in KS2. And the lack of Online Multiplayer matches with random opponents is a huge dissapointment. My thought is this was originally to be a launch release with all the bells and whistles, but due to time constraints (it was pushed back 4 months) it was rushed out as a half-baked game.

I'll say this: the population of people that can play this game effectively is so small, I have no idea how this game got green-lighted or can break even on its costs let alone make a profit. But with that said, IF all the planets are aligned for you and you have the right set up in place (Kinect, HUGE open play space, uncarpeted floors, moderate dribbling skills, no angry downstairs neighbors, etc.), this game is SURPRISINGLY FUN. The music is pretty good and you WILL have fun practicing since the Kinect picks up your movements fairly well. Your skills will improve and you'll learn a few tricks that you can (maybe) use in an actual game. But because of so many limitations to effective gameplay, NBA Baller Beats is simply not for everyone.

Holy cow...awesome group of tables. Fun, challenging and addicting. Don't know if I've seen any other developer that makes each subsequent iteration of their game significantly better than the last. The guys at Zen are pretty remarkable.

**BIGGEST DISSAPOINTMENT IN A FIGHTING GAME** I rarely do reviews, but I have to warn people of a major risk: IF YOU ARE MORE A FAN OF TEKKEN THAN SF, YOU WILL BE EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED! This is the risk of a crossover fighting game with COMPLETELY different styles. One is a glossy, smooth fighitng game thats eaiser and less for the hardcore crowd (TEKKEN). The other is the cell-shaded, big combo, hard core based fighting game (SF). This is nothing more than SF with additional fighters using Tekken skins. Nothing has been carried over from Tekken. MAJOR letdown if you're not a huge SF fan and love the gameplay of Tekken.

This is hands down the best interactive fitness experience you're going to find. I had the first game as well, which was good. But it still felt limited. This game will have you continuously striving for more. Awesome presentation, body detection and feedback. With the holidays here, this is a best bet for anyone looking to get in shape for the new year.
