WORLD OF GOO: This is one of those games that I really like to play when got bored with my daily lives. OK... Here's World of Goo. It's a physics-based puzzle game where you construct goos so that they can made it into the end point which is the pipe. That's pretty much the whole explanation. There are various goo types as you play. There are the baloon goos (or maybe they are actual baloons), there are the removeable goos, trasparent goos, and soo many more. Even with the simple gameplay, you still need your brain right here though not fully. Maybe because you mindlessly construct goos. But this game actually requires strategy and prediction in the later levels. The overall gameplay is very fun, though it can get hard sometimes. Surprisingly this game has a very interesting personality on itself. The game is just making fun of things and not taking it too seriously. Yeah, it's maybe a little mindless, but it's still fun to play. So far, the only problem i got on this game is that it spoils how many chapters are on this game. Though, this game still can hook you up with like 30-40 hours. OVERALL: This is an awesome game. I have a fun times playing with it as a casual gamer. Puzzle game fans should definitely check it out. It's pretty cheap right now so why don't you buy it!. Oh, and it works really well on any netbook so you can bring it anywhere. [8/10] "Awesome"

FREESPACE 2: First of all, I'm not a good Space Sim gamer, but this is a pretty fun game for the newcomers of the genre. Here's Freespace 2. It's a beautiful game for a 1999 game. It feels like a 2004-5 game. This game was actually intended to be a spin-off for Descent, but right now it's more stand-alone on it's own. The gameplay was just your normal Space Sim. You lock on missiles and shoot your enemy's vehicle. The vehicle designs are not bad actually. You have your lock on target missiles and your normal infinite laser beam gun. The game is pretty challenging and it can be very intense too. If you are new to the genre like me, don't worry! As soon as you start the game, you'll greeted with a pretty good in-game tutorial. The single player campaign was great with an interesting storyline too. The voice acting is top-notch on this game. It feels like you're playing a Sci-Fi movie instead ****. I really liked the theme for the game. The space just feels really like a space. Though there are some problems I have no this game. It really takes practice your you to hit a target with your laser beam as you won't hit it perfectly. And If you have a netbook, this game works well, but the problem is that you don't have enough buttons on your keyboard. The game uses more than all the buttons on your keyboard. Most netbooks don't have keypads which was used on this game if you want to strafe your ship. If you want to, just use your joystick. OVERALL: FreeSpace 2 is a good game. I can't really rate it higher because I'm a noob on the genre. So I can't really enjoy the overall feel of the game. If you really liked Space Sim games, go ahead and pick Freespace 2. You will be very satisfied, and newcomers should check it out. [7/10] "Good"

BATTLEFIELD 1942: Back in 2002 this is one of the most realistic game I've ever played. Not even Medal of Honor could beat it. I think this is the main inspiration of UT2004's Onslaught mode. I really liked it. So here's BF1942. The gameplay isn't like any of FPS games out there. It's intended to be more realistic with vehicles, wide battlefield, and I think 5 different classes. The single player campaign isn't like the recent BF games. While the recent BF games have linear CoD-like Single Player campaign, this one actually takes inspiration from Counter Strike. I'm too lazy to play multiplayer TBH. Talking about the historical elements, there are very well done. It really feels that you are inside a WWII battlefield. The vehicles, the weapons, the environments, the planes, everything feels just like WWII. There are some things that I don't like on this game. The first is that the flying controls are awful, but you'll get used to with it. The AI is ridiculously stupid. At some moment, I found out one of my team mates prone JUST RIGHT near an enemy. This is just ridiculous! I don't really like some of the level designs. There are places that were a little bit too small for a tank, and some places that you can only reach with a plane or a boat. But otherwise, there are tons of mods that you can use to tweak the game. You can also install 2 of their expansions. I haven't tried all of them but I think they're excellent. OVERALL: BF1942 is an awesome game, worth trying especially when you have a netbook. [8/10] "Awesome"

RETURN TO CASTLE WOLFENSTEIN: Before you guys asking, yes this is a honest review from a gamer. Is it just me or there are some id staff that just post positive reviews with their real names lol :D. OK, let's start. The sequel to one of the most revolutionary FPS game Wolfenstein 3D. I know right? Well, it truly is! I didn't expect lots of things to happen in this game. I mean it's just you fighting ****. This game is like a mixed bag of Sci-Fi and dark magic which I swear it scares the **** out of you. Yeah, unexpectedly, this game is pretty scary. I think these **** soldiers were starting to learn Black Magic and guess what, make Zombies. Yeah, there are zombies on this game and you guys have to get surprised by it. The gameplay is pretty good actually. The single player campaign is your typical MoH or CoD-like first person shooter. Only this time it's probably a little longer and it has secrets inside the game. So you guys should have some times and explore around for secrets. In recent Battlefield games, the Single Player campaign isn't that neccessary. But in this game, it's like the half of the game. You are ALMOST alone on this game (most of time yes, but sometimes a friend helps you) and there are soo many **** to take down. Things that I have to criticize is probably a fact that the game is very straight forward. So when you missed a secret, it's really a pain to backtrack a straightforward level. And it can gets boring sometimes. I never played multiplayer. Just because I'm too lazy anyway, Overall. RCTW is one of my most favorite game of all time. [9/10] "Amazing"

RAGE: One of my most anticipated game of 2011 probably because of the tagline "From the creators of Doom and Quake". I was very hyped for this game. But the problem is that it isn't that good. Let's start. The intro scene was pretty good, but I don't really liked it that much. There are some cool references from their older games like the Doom Marine's bubble head, there are even YouTube videos that show us a secret location like Doom's first level room and Quake's difficulty selection room. That was amazing and I really liked it. But that's the only interesting things about this game. The other ones are just average and it's one of those bland copy of Borderlands and Twisted Metal mixed together. The open-world isn't that open world. Probably because you are forced to do quests. And so far, there are no big maps which is disappointing too. The weapons are pretty cool but again, it feels like Borderlands, and the indoor parts are a little complicating. Another weak point of this game is probably the story. It's horrible with an average voice acting and forgetable characters. Why did peoples just relax in a situation that they shouldn't? If there are innocent peoples around and more emotional backstory, I think this game would've been perfect. It has lots of potentials like starving peoples that you should save, and soo many more. I swear to god, I'm getting bored playing this game, but then I forced myself to complete it just for this review, and the ending just piss me off literally in my heart. But other than those bad things, I think there are some good things. The music and sound FX are great, the graphics are very well detailed, the enemies are very challenging, and the driving parts are quite intense. After I beat the game, RAGE is a good game. Just don't play this game till the end because it will instantly drops your score from Good to maybe horrible. [7/10] "Good"

PREY: This is one of the most underrated game ever made (because little to no one knows it). Most people says that it's an Okay game. I say it was Amazing! The game was made in the id Tech 4 engine which is a Doom 3 engine. You can still feel that this game is a rip-off Doom 3, but it's made on the same game engine so maybe it has some aggreements with id Software. The gameplay is more like Doom 3, but it's more story-based. You and your girlfriend gets abducted by aliens. You made to escape, but you must save your girlfriend. There are some sad moments too so I think the Story was great. But god, the environments and the aliens are as disgusting as Half-Life (in a good way though). It really feels that you are in there. The realism is great and still comparable to HL2. The gameplay is just your typical shooter, but it's more than that. Why? The weapons were made by aliens instead of humans, but the other reason is just like Half Life 2, Prey has puzzles. But compared to HL2, this one blows your mind completely. They are more than just puzzles, they kill gravity. Unlike any other games I've played so far (still counting Portal), the puzzle just blows your mind. There are portals that can teleport you somewhere, but it can also shrinks you into a miniature look. There are floors that kill the law of gravity, and more weird things. They used the engine perfectly on this game. I loved it. Too bad with game like this, id Software didn't put more efforts on their recent games like RAGE. So overall, Prey is an amazing game and it's one of my most favorite game of all time. [9/10] "Amazing"

MINECRAFT (V.1.0 REVIEWED): An indie game that you guys have been waited for. After playing the BETA version, I can't wait for the complete version to be released. Unfortunately there's a little disappointment here. Is it just me or the Minecraft is getting more RPG-ish? I mean what's with all these potions and boss battles? I just want a simple game that allows me to mine stuff and make my own mining company. I liked that kind of game, especially when it's in the First Person Perspective. Oh yes, there's the BuildCraft mod. I want that mod to be the whole game! I just want miners and assistant for me just to.. You know, mine stuff? I liked the idea of dungeons and abadoned structures inside the world, but the game just can't focus on the mining aspects, but instead it's focusing on Dungeon Crawling RPGs. I think that's what the game was supposed to be, but I want more mining options in the later version. That's my main problem in the game. But so far, it's an Okay game. I can't rate it higher because this simple game can't run in a simple netbook. So one suggestions to Mojang, can you guys built-in the Optifine mod inside the game? There are tons of mods that can fix the game and tweak the game too, but the Vanilla isn't a recommendation for you guys. It's addicting, but disappointing too. I'm sorry guys, I love you Notch, I love you Minecraft, but I'm expecting more than just a Dungeon Crawling Adventure. I want you guys to focus on Mining. That's all. [6/10] "Okay"

STARCRAFT II: Where do I start? Oh, I'm reviewing this game before the next expansion came out. I think when you really love the original StarCraft, then this one is a great recommendation. I'm not a big fan of RTS genre, but I do love some of their games like AoE, Rise of Nations, Empire Earth, and now this. StarCraft II is one of the best modern RTS game. Well, there are some RTS games that can top up StarCraft II, but it's great on it's own. All the things that I have to note are probably the most awesome cut scenes on a Real Time Strategy game, realistic graphics and sound effects with great music too, great voice acting, and most importantly, great gameplay. Maybe because I'm not a big fan of the genre, I can't enjoy the game that much. So far, I haven't tried multiplayer yet probably because I played this game on my Uncle's PC.

MIRROR'S EDGE: A great game. I liked the premise of parkour and running through buildings in first person. Though, when you start, you have to get used to with the controls as it takes a while, but once you do, you'll ready for parkouring. The graphics are amazing even when they colored the buildings a little too simple. The sound works and the musics are great too. The overall gameplay is good, but you'll get confused later on. The chase sequences are great and it's very intense, though you'll experience some trial-and-error if you can't find the right object to jump over. The bad thing is that the story isn't interesting, especially when they use a 2D animation in some cut scenes. The combat only used sometimes. And it ends short, but sweet :)

UT2004: One of my most favorite game. There are lots of game modes you can try. The original Deathmatch and CTF mode returns right here with some extra modes. I liked the Onslaught mode. It's very addicting and can waste you up hours to play. The addition of vehicles just made the game a lot more complete. If you think that the game is not balanced, there are mutators for you to add and configure. The bots are quite challenging and you can add up to 32 bots. The weapons are amazing and packs lot of punch. The graphics are decent for the time, but it's great. And if you get bored, there are thousands of custom maps and mods that you can download for free (especially Red Orchestra).

Since Metacritic user reviews are good for short one, So let's point out a little bit of bad things on the game. The USER INTERFACE is horrible compared to Morrowind or even Oblivion. I can see how simple it is, but when we're using our armors, we can't see the real preview of the character unless if we go to the Third Person. The BUGS AND GLITCHES that still remains until now. I got this 3 times when I wait or "rest" somewhere, then the texture goes ugly and I can go through walls. It only happens when you play over 7 hours nonstop with an old Xbox. Mine is an old one so it's bad. One more, the PUZZLES. It makes the exploration on caves a lot more linear and boring. Though they are creative, it's annoying. Other than that, all of the things on this game are AMAZING. I recommend buying this game. Though Morrowind and the Expansion Packs are better and more challenging than this game.

Now let me begin this, L.A Noire is one of the best game out there. Imagine if you are a detective and you want to solve crimes. You got yourself this game. You will start thinking that this is a rip-off GTA. Wrong. This is a true revolutionary. It is basically like a tree. It connects from one thing to another depending on how do you solve the case. The game also has RPG elements. Like the experience, dialogue choices, and more. The graphics is very good. It uses a great technology motion capture tools stuff that I don't have any idea how it worked. It is revolutionary. A new thing on a game. The shooting mechanic works well, the AI is not stupid at all, and the environment looks detailed. The story is awesome and I have nothing again to say with this game. The final score is actually [ 11 ] out of 10. Revolutionary. And a MUST-BUY

portal 2 is very cool as you know it will be. don't trust the bad reviews for this game! trust the good ones! (lazy review with no caps). it has co-op, great story, awesome graphics, awesome futuristic settings, and lots of puzzles that you can expect from the last game. simply one of the best game of 2011. they removed annoying puzzles like the energy orb that forces you to wait until it's settled up with the annoying receiver stuff, and add more new elements like the gel that will speed up your character, or jump like almost zero gravity, and even create portals in impossible places! the game also adds cooperative campaign which you and your friend can participate and complete together. the greatest part of the cooperative campaign is that there is 100% team work. it's perfectly executed. but the annoying part is that if your friend is stupid and can't think with portals. now the thing that lacks on this game is the single player is a little short. and it's a puzzle game. once you know how to solve each of every levels in portal 2, i bet you will complete this game in only 4 hours. and you suffer yourself like 12-13 hours to beat this game and if you don't know how to beat the s*** out of the puzzle you will ended up looking on youtube. shamefully, there are no extras in this game. almost no replay value. no interesting secret stuff. and if you start playing it with cheats, you better end the game normally. i guess the only effort ending the game is that you can use cheats later. so that's my review on portal 2. a score of [ 9.6 ] judging all the stuff above that pisses me off
