I was surprised how fun this game could be. I’m not the biggest fan of Diner Dash (when compared to other similar games like Cake Mania) but heard about this title and gave it a **** gameplay is fast and addicting. It can be challenging at times but because it’s so fun, you don’t mind trying again and again u til you pass a level. It took me awhile to realize that doing the same actions in a row gives you a multiplier. Figuring out where to place people is a true puzzle and makes a big difference in your score, so it’s worth taking a few extra seconds to think it through. Sound-wise, for the DS it’s ok. The DS doesn’t have very good sound quality. Visually, the UI looks cheap, but the sprites and animations are good for the game. The small size of the characters can make it difficult to hit the right points and can cost you seconds, which is frustrating. The game’s story and characters are razor-thin and easily ignored. They serve little purpose other than to string together the levels. Ultimately, it’s borderline shovel wear but manages to be more entertaining than you may expect, and worth your time to try out if you both love puzzles, time management sims, and can track it down for a low cost.

I'm a 31 year old woman who loves this series of games. It would be easy to write it off as a "game for girls" in the vein of the manny Barbie or fashion design games. But Style Savvy really is catching and addictive. I spent way too many hours playing this game and it never gets old. I even know of straight cis men who hardly care about fashion in real life yet love this game. I only have three criticisms. One is that when your customer buys your item or outfit, they will sometimes pair it with what they are already wearing, which can sometimes make them look ridiculous. The second is that eventually some of the customers repeat and it gets a little old. The last is that a few of the clothing items are terribly ugly. But that last complaint is obviously a true personal opinion that depends on the person. I really really hope they make another game in the series for the Switch. And the more customization options, the better!
