Very much enjoyed the show. It's predictable at times and the characters are annoying at times due to their somewhat irrational mindsets but the story plot, acting, pacing, character development, and music make for an intriguing series. Without the superb acting the show would be about an 8 but the acting alone makes it stand out even more.

This show is not so much about women's wrestling as it's about the life of those women who are wrestlers. Of course there's plenty of wrestling and wrestling entertainment involved. However, it's a deep dive into a range of women living in the 1980's and doing what they have to to survive. Whether that be surviving emotionally, financially or both. The show gets better season after season and it's mostly due to the fact that the direction of the show continues to mold the characters to where the wrestling team becomes a support group. All the while, the wrestling shows entertainment level gets higher and higher. I look forward to all and any future seasons of the show and really hope the show garners a wider audience as it really deserves it.

The series is definitely clunky at times but overall it was enjoyable. With being so different from the 1990's tv series Sabrina the Teenage Witch. The show will definitely drive some audience members away who are interested in a familiar show. The show deserves a 6 but with some actors lifting it up. I ended up giving it a 7 because of such effort. Plus the costume designers really went out of their way to bring out the wackiness to which is this show. Since the show seems more playful than serious throughout most of it's screen time. You'll either love it, hate it or tolerate it for the interest in the main story line.

Definitely my least favorite season and the show as a whole took a nosedive to the point of me just wanting to watch the highlights to get it over with. I'm fairly certain that without George R.R. Martins books to follow. That the directors and the shows writers were struggling to maintain just a glimpse of Mr. Martins marvelous story telling. Now the shows turning the incredible story into what one might call Hot Garbage. Leaving most fans annoyed and unsatisfied per the ending of what could have been a masterpiece series.

Is the show perfect? Absolutely not , but it adventures to try to be something creative and to a degree it's fresh. The acting is absolutely fantastic with characters sometimes taking on multiple personality and fitting the roles perfectly. Though there are a few characters I wouldn't have minded having less screen time. The overall characters and performance were enjoyable. This show does take a sci-fi type of fan in order to hit a 10/10 mark. Everyone else will probably give it a 5/10-8/10 because of issues with the plot or long drawn out back stories. Even I have to admit that the season had a few segments of emptiness that could have either been cut or redone to make the overall story more compelling. In all, Altered Carbon isn't your run of the mill world breaking tv series but it definitely hits a lot of notches within many sci-fi fans belts and the average viewer can easily enjoy the show as well. If the writers learn their lessons from the first season and apply that knowledge to the second. Then I could easily see the show's fanbase growing.

The Rain: Season 1

First off, if you cannot withstand watching a show with subtitles and must have it dubbed if it's in a foreign language. Then I highly recommend that you avoid this show. As the dubbing for The Rain is terrible and will throw you off. Now onto the actual review of the show. The Rain is far from perfect, but if you stick with it. It actually starts to pick up and gets really good. For the first 2-3 episodes. I was constantly reminded that these were immature kids having to deal with a post apocalyptic world, but when things started progressing further and further. They kind of "woke up" in a sense. Which allowed the show to become so much better. As it moved away from high school drama. To actually fearing what we all deem to be harmless.

The expanse is the Sci-fi we've all been waiting for since Firefly. Many of times, tv shows will come on trying to innovate the idea of adventure, exploration, drama, and discovery, but they often times fail at meeting what the average users want. The Expanse not only meets those innovations, but exceeds it greatly. It takes a somewhat realistic view of what our future might become, and sticks you right in the middle of it. They have no bounds to which they are held to in regards to underplaying how we perceive and treat one another. As the show brings you on a journey through space. A feeling of absolute mystery keeps pushing it way into each episode. Again, this is a show that has a lot to tell. So please be patient with it as it pays off in the end. Plus, season 2 is so much better than the first that it hurts to say it as I thoroughly have enjoyed the entirety of this series.

The expanse season 1 was surprisingly good. It enticed you to keep watching, and kept you on edge. Once the final episode rolled around, you wanted to rewatch the season again to look for things that you may have missed. Over season is edgy, exciting, adventurous, dramatic, a mind blowing sci-fi, and most of all just fun to watch. After the long wait until season 2, I felt that the show would have a difficult time taking off where it left off in season 1. Yes there was a lot to explain, but could they do it just right, and could they keep that sense of discovery going at the rate they did in season 1? Well by golly gee they sure did! Not only is season 2 better, you can tell they received quite a nice budget increase as well. Season 2 blasts off into the horizon of the unknown and puts you in the front seat of what I am starting to call. The best damn sci-fi of this decade.

Absolutely love the show. It's intriguing, inventive sci-fi, and extremely bold. It takes a leap in a direction that many wouldn't attempt, and that leap seems to have paid off. The actors, writing, CGI, staging, and music all sync up well enough to make you believe that this world they're trying to create could actually become a reality. I can see this show not being for everyone. As it's not a war-base or adventure based sci-fi, but more of a drama based tv series in a sci-fi universe. Don't be afraid to give it a shot, and tell your friends. This show deserves a second season.
