Nice Game and a must play for every metroidvania fan. The Gameplay is well executed, there are plenty of upgrades to collect and the controls are tight. The level design is ok, nothing super special. The music is pretty cool for a videogame and contributes to the gameplay. The story is mysterious and makes you wantto explore and find all the secrets. Love the accessible save spots and fast traveling system.

This game is an absolute masterpiece. Gameplay 9/10 Design 9/10 Music 10/10 Platforming 10/10 Combat 8/10 Boss Fights 8/10 Rewards/Upgrades 9/10 Depth/Story 9/10 Aeterna Noctis is the first game after 2 years when i finished Hollow Knight which is worth mentioning inthe same sentence. I love the game mechanics, the combat, healing system, super precise controls and level design. The enemys are well balanced (even the bosses and i typically hate boss fights) and bring a wide diversity. The platforming aspect is super challenging but very forgiving at the same time. It punishes where it has to, but gives ways to easily get back what was lost. The music is absolutly beautiful and easily the best art ive ever heard in any game before. I love the classic music but also the different music in each area. It really underlines the gameplay and pushes you to go one step further. I would love to see more games like this and hopefully there will be a sequel someday.

This game is a perfect combination between Minecraft and a great 3rd Person Action/Adventure Game. The combat is excellent and offers plenty variety because of the different vocations Knight, Hunter and Mage. The building/crafting system is complex and contains hundreds of different materials. It takes about 30 hours for a full playthrough but can expand to hundreds of hours, if you want to go for all late game bosses and all weapons/tools. The performance is great, even on Switch.
