The first season was good, mostly smart and good watch. The second season, however, has a ridiculously shoehorned Russia plot which doesn't keep with the tenor or theme of the series. I find it hard to believe the person who wrote the first season would write the second. I wonder if it was an idea from the studio or someone else that doesn't understand the appeal of the first season.

I didn't think I would like this since I am not a rom com person, but I like how it finds space to make fun of rom com tropes while still leaning into them a bit. Hard to describe, it is a fun, easy and lighthearted watch. Definitely check it out if you want something to relax and pop on.

Super funny, worth the watch. It's a sitcom, but it's a teeny bit edgier and lead is genuinely funny. I don't watch sitcoms, generally, but this one has snuck into my regular schedule.

I don't know why I watched this after the first few episodes. It was advertised as sci-fi, but it was a weird sort of exercise with unlikable and pointless characters.

I am surprised this is hidden away on Freeform, this is better than pretty much all the Netflix marvel superhero series outside of Daredevil. The writers have created a really rich background and history for the characters. Cloak & Dagger is so much more engaging than most of the shows in this genre. Was not planning on watching it and I am really glad I did. Excited for Season 2!

This show is incredibly witty and the dialogue is deep, clever and at the same time very attuned to adolescent pop culture. I love it so much, took me right back to my college days. Also, kind of reminded me of Dawson's creek in that all the kids are wise beyond their years, but Dear White People is much more poignant, the issues are larger, but that reflects reality. POC don't really get to grow up in the same world as white people. Man, I hope they make more shows like this, it's so worth watching.
