The game for the most part is good. Love the Showcase mode, game play is pretty good as well. It would be higher rated for me if online was playable. People quit out a lot due to the servers being so bad. The MyFaction mode can be grinded out better then in 2K but it is so much to just buy packs it's not worth it. The local game play on this is awesome but online needs a lot of work in my opinion. The custom creation will always be king in this game too.

This game gets in its own way. Franchise mode is awesome, love that it has different eras of history people can learn the players it is really great and is the best Franchise mode. The game play is pretty good for the most part the random guy running out of bounds still happens and can be irritating. Online gaming is too monetized if you can't spend money or have a crazy amount of time to grind out MyTeam or MyPlayer good luck competing even if you're pretty good at the game if that changes this game could be a lot better. Servers are also very hit and miss from a company like this that is not good with as much monetization there is at least have good servers.

It is a very fun Arcade style game with cool legends, content creators, and their OG players. You can make it as challenging as you want and it is awesome for getting the younger generation into baseball. Not a lot of bad about this game.

Needs game play tuning in the worst way. Hiding cards behind a pay wall is not what the Diamond Dynasty has been about. The game does do somethings well like fielding is easy, the idea of hitting is good, when the servers are working online play is pretty good. The constant foul balls on awful swings is a problem, they have a hard time on tuning pitch movement so they shrink your PCI on sliders instead of making sliders move like real life, and lastly the input consistency needs to be addressed. All stuff can be fixed but if its not future games will suffer as well as the fan base will ask other companies to make baseball games. They better get on top of fixing it before it turns into 2K or Madden.
