After several hours playing EA Sports UFC 5, I think it's a good game, but not excellent. What I liked most were the graphics and the new damage system, as the fighters more realistically display the impact of the blows they receive during combat. This makes the fights feel more intense and closer to what you see in real UFC events.I also enjoyed the variety of fighters and the impact of many of the strikes. When you land a good combination or get a knockout, the game manages to convey excitement and satisfaction. However, I'm giving it a 7 out of 10 because I expected more changes compared to the previous installment. Although it's visually improved, much of the gameplay feels very similar to UFC 4. Furthermore, some game modes can become repetitive after a while, and certain movements or animations still look unnatural. In online matches, I also found situations where some playstyles seem better balanced than others.
