Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 34

Very much dissatisfied with this game thus far. The MP graphics look identical to MW2 which was a surprise for me. The multiplayer offerings are the usual fare. It seems as though they did not want to risk changing much or adding anything new, and wanted to play it safe. The game plays as well as any of the other COD's out there. My score is indicative not of the content, but the lack of ingenuity and impactfulness of this game. It is much more MW2.5 than an actual sequel. I was very bored playing this game the 2nd day and am not sure how much more I will be playing. I have prestiged 7 times in the last 2 COD's, and doubtful I will get close to that this go round. The game is just getting stale. The end.

One of the best RPG's of all time. Certainly of this gen. Almost everything in this game is outstanding. The only things that were annoying was the Mako and the inventory management which doesn't take much from the game at all I think. Outstanding game. One of the best.

Call of Duty: Black Ops7
Jun 1, 2011
I must not be the only one that thinks this is getting old. More Call of Duty = More of the same. Not much has changed since Modern Warfare. Black ops is a solid game and I spent quite of bit of time playing it, but they need to show me something special before I pick up Modern Warfare 3. The graphics haven't improved much neither. Crysis 2 and Battlefield Bad Company 2 looks a lot better. When are buildings in Call of Duty going to become destructible, or the maps become more fleshed out and more interactive. Windows break and thats about it. The effects from explosions and gunfire aren't very impressive. This game is recycled bits and pieces from World at War and Modern Warfare. Which really isn't a bad thing, I'm just trying to find out what is new besides the maps. Zombies don't do anything for me and if I wanted to kill zombies I would play Left 4 Dead or Resident Evil or something similar. Paying $15 for 3 maps and a zombie map is ridiculous. Call of Duty needs to be remodeled, reinvented, renewed, it needs more than a face lift by November. We want innovation from the best selling shooter of this gen. Maybe the developers that are making the next Call of Duty will take some risks and surprise us. I hope so for the gamers sake.

Torchlight7

Very fun dungeon crawler. Lots of enemies, loot, spells, character customization is all there and very well executed. But no co-op? Really? That blew me away as I thought that was mandatory by now for all dungeon crawling hack and slash types. Good game but if they would have added co-op it would have been great. I guess we will have to wait and see if Torchlight 2 can do it right.

Dead Space 210

The Dead Space story and games 1 & 2 are some of my all time favorites. Revives the horror survival genre all on its own. This is coming from a true games who plays a lot of every type of genre, and considers Dead Space to be one of the best of them all. Great action, great story, good scares, altogether a game you shouldn't miss if you haven't picked up already. What are you waiting for? Altman be praised.
