Dying Light 2 Stay Human2

The latest patch has made a bug laden game completely unplayable in co-op. We just made the chase for centeal loop and not a SINGLE sequence out of the 10 something parts worked. Not a singöe row of code seemed to have been run in the correct order. Co-op was at least working before that patch..

Battlefield 20425

The game was released in an unfinnished state with tons of bugs showering over us during the first weeks. Whilst most of the more obvious and obtrusive are solved, the game feels unfinnished and unbalanced in the normal modes. This is no news for the returning BF player who seems to endure this every iteration. The new modes of Portal, making it able to play legacy modes from other games, as well as Hazard Zone, a version of battleroyal customized for the new mechanics of 2042, makes me put a higher score as they are fun additions. The fact that there are no official Hardcore servers, making it moot to get any progress unless you want to play playing the normal, broken settings is weird too. It is like they skipped any user testing before launch and just wanted it out there before the hollidays. Hopefylly we'll get it down the line, but thinking about the hot mess they need to clean before balancing any weapons/settings or even getting to a new official server, will take a looong time.

Cyberpunk 20770

Unfortunately it is completely unplayable on a PS4 (original) due to the console's limitations. Framerate drops to record breaking lows when either driving or fighting, which are kind of key concepts in the game, making it impossible to hit an enemy, steer your vehicle or take in what goes on in your surrounding. Read a comic book if you want improved framerates. Graphics is understandably low quality but the rendering is adding/removing people around me as I look at them. Cars too. On my first visit, the entire building where the protagonist lives wasn't rendered at all, so the car kind of started hovering amid trash cans before I realized I was probably inside a building. I hope to try it on a different console/pc to see if there is potential beneath it all, but on a PS4 you need to avoid it. Marketing for the game was great. The hype was there and even the intro came of as strong if you could forgive the graphics not being what you saw in the videos. But it ought to be fraud to take money for something this broken. CDPR is helping you with refunds and I think you should all take that chance and try again on a later console and version. It is going to be a hassle but please endure. If greed had not forced it to release on these consoles and instead had focused on next-gen, we wouldn't be in this mess..

Lone Echo10

By far the best VR-experience released to date. If you are looking for an amazing journey rather than a game-like demo, you should give this a try. Movement in zero gravity eliminates nausea brilliantly. The story takes me through a series of emotions and reactions I did not expect from myself. Voice acting is great and the level of detail in the visuals are stunning. Mapping of the body and its movement is stimulating to experience and gives a much more real sensation than most other games I've tried. Especially when it comes to all the different kinds of interactions you can do with your virtual body. If every game from this point takes a lesson from Lone Echo, Virtual Reality itself has gained a lot. Great work, Ready at Dawn Studios! I can find nothing to complain about and the only reviews I've seen giving bad grades are people not giving it a try because it doesn't come in Spanish, which in turn is unfair to the game. It is not like I walk around expecting games to be released in my mother tongue, that would've been ****, both by me and whoever in the industry that decided on such a bad decision. So instead of shooting down a masterpiece like this, learn English. It is 2017 and the age of IT does come with one particular language up front.

Mass Effect: Andromeda9

After playing a feasible amount of time I feel ready to leave a review. Conclusion number one: It does not deserve all the negative feedback and low grades it is getting. Sure, there are some graphical flat faces and I have even seen an NPC in T-pose but these are so minor that giving it a bad name for it doesn't make sense. There are instead other issues that should be handled first but let's talk about these later. The story starts out interesting enough. A bit weird and unprofessional I would say, but what it lacks there it certainly makes up for in its continuation. I will not spoil anything but let us just say the more I play the more I want to continue. Voice acting is okay. Some characters better than others. The amount of content is huuuge. I normally plays very thoroughly but I have the sensation that my life is not long enough to get stuck exploring in this game. The improvements that should be focused on instead of facial animations is the lag some players experience in multiplayer and the connection issues that has popped up. It seems to be a rather demanding game on that front. The UI could be improved as there are no scroll indicators in the menu (which made me confused where they had put the subtitle toggle) and some other minor things making the menus and UI systems somewhat non-intuitive and confusing. Apart from these I have yet to find what the fuss is about. It is a great game in a neat package with loads of content for the Mass Effect-fan who wants to explore a vast universe. Read the codex to get the true depth of it all (maybe not ALL of it because it feels longer than the Song of Fire and Ice series). They really made an effort on placing this in the timeline and a good story.
