Im a fan of Julian Fellowes - and adaptations of Jane Austen, etc. - but this is terrible. Badly cast, weirdly comin - trying way to hard to be light and breezy. Barely made it through one episode. Appreciate the diverse casting, but acting is over-the-top

ugh - so awful and on the nose writing and fake and terrible and typical Ryan Murphy where he rips off a zillion different other artists and claims it's an homage.

I thought this was probably a Drag Race rip-off, especially since it stars three of that shows biggest names, but it's actually a very pleasant surprise. It trades in small town ****-phobia, but it does it in a very non-judgemental way. It's not a condescending look at small town values. The format is a little like **** Guy, with the three heroines making over three locals (some gay, some straight) for a drag show, and the results are very emotional. BTW, who even knew there was a small drag scene in Twin Falls Idaho? The show feels very different from Drag Race - I highly recommend it. Have Kleenex at hand

Just because Tim and Heidi are given a ton more money to make this show than they had for Project Runway, it doesn't make this a better show. It's just a lot of great locations and bad "bits" featuring the comedy styles of Tim and Heidi - which always fall flat. We just don't care much about any of the contestants in the series like we did with PR. The fact that they are already established designers also takes away the stakes. Watching a bunch of veritable newbies and the chemistry/drama in the work room really made PR work. This is just a lesser, glossy facsimile.

It's nice to see diversity in the director's chair, but this is a weird mix of modern flourishes in a period-piece. The filmmakers didn't seem confident enough in their story to tell it straight. There's a really weird creative choice involving quick cuts of Octavia in the boxing rink fighting the people that oppose her. It's really stupid and on the nose. Some of the characters are also way over the top. I was really disappointed.

Shocked at how bad this is. I'm a Rupaul fan so was excited to see this, but he's just not a good actor, that kid is terrible and their introduction is stupid. You would expect it to be zippy and funny, but it all feels forced and cheaply done.

Ugh - how did this crap get good reviews? This is the most artificial, pretentious, precious bunch of characters masquerading as teens. I think the creators think they are cool and quirky, but they are horribly annoying, especially The Colonel. Green must have been such a wuss in high school.

I gave this series two episodes, but I had to give up because it is so boring and doesn't capture the humor of the book. Clooney and his partner think they are so clever, but most of the stuff they do is pretentious garbage. I don't think they understand the tone of the book. Clooney shouldn't have let his partner direct the pilot OR star in it. Ugh.

Summer Heights High is one of my favorite shows of all time - - funny and touching at the same time. I wasn't a fan of the next series focusing just on Jaime - or the series after that. With Lunatics, there are some laughs, but I think he has too many characters, and I don't understand why the college girl has to be 7 feet tall, or the realtor has to have a huge butt. What's the point?
