Reminds me of growing up on Alabama. Fun, light-hearted, not too heavy even when dealing with heavy subjects. Great acting, casual conversations and funny situations - the show highlights the fact even rural areas have diversity and people with different personalities and viewpoints.

Great acting, cinematography and production! I love the ancestor warrior, he is hilarious and brings that mysticism that intrigues and expands the boundaries of this world - kinda like Twin Peaks, Fargo or Atlanta. Plots are great, equal parts comedy and drama while dealing with various timely issues like mental health, 420, socioeconomic inequality and domestic difficulties. Acting is top notch across the board - not over the top, real chill like casual interactions you'd have with your friends. The music is _the bomb_, can't tell you how many songs I've added to my streaming favorites after being reintroduced to them. If you like Atlanta (and I do), you'll love this show! I wouldn't throw around 10 ratings wildly, but this is already in as one of my top 10 favorite series of all time.
