The nintendo switch 2is being revealed soon and I feel like the switch deserves a review before tomorrow's direct. This will be long solets just get to it, they nintendo switch is amazing im a grown man and the switch has so much to offer everyone. Alot of the gimmicks are a miss , if they would have embraced the wii and wii u this console would have been perfect. More on that later. Lets talk about games.Personally I buy so many games and never complete them. And the switch is one of the devices where I do this. My favorite game is mario. Mario kart, 3d Mario, Mario paint. I love the Mario series and the switch gives me access to so many of them. Maybe even all of them if im not mistaken. And if you are like me this is the system to buy for Mario. I did try Zelda and I actually like Zelda alot ,however I didn't complete it. The switch has too many multi-player fun gamesthat I never got around to it! And thats an amazing problem to have. Endless hours of Mario kart and party, even golf. Its just a blast to play with the family. Now back to the point I wanted to make. Nintendo dropped the ball with backwards compatibility. The wii set the blueprint and nintendo didnt build upon it. Was the wii perfect? Nothing is, but with the advancements in technology i really thought we could get all wii games remade here with better motion controls almost like vr at this point. But yet we get pretty much a standard hybrid console / handheld. With this said the switch offers so much is can forgive that. 9/10 is a fair score. Now the switch 2 has the ability to become an instant hit, which i know won't happen, but here's the blueprint. Improve the switch 2, obviously. But go FULL BACK COMPAT. Bring back GameCube, ds, wii and wii u. If nintendo does this and charges a monthly fee to use it I would pay and rebuy the games and peripherals just to play them again. Hopefully this can come to fruition. If not we still have an amazing console to fall back on!
