Overdone while at the same time feeling forgettable. With the budget and the amount of time this movie got, I was really hoping it would’ve been done in a more artistic way. I think the ways of old Hollywood are just gone now.

There’s almost no story to this movie. Very flimsy, shallow, predictable, and tired. James Cameron is at the lowest point of his career.

Every aspect of this film was masterfully crafted. From the writing to the directing, acting, cinematography, sound and picture editing, and even the musical performances were pretty amazing. This is a once in a decade kind of film. It’s no wonder it’s one of the highest rated films of the 2000s.

A genuine masterpiece and cinematic marvel. The sheer amount of artistry in this film is astonishing. It was a massive undertaking and was executed exceptionally well. This is Jim Henson at his very best. Labyrinth also has one of the greatest soundtracks of any film. This is real movie magic.
