(ENG) Its a sitcom about a fictional university and its football team, built around chaos, partying, sex, hazing, and ego, it sounds simple and in part it is, but thats one of its biggest strengths, it knows exactly what kind of show it wants to be and doesnt waste time pretending otherwise, it has a very marked personality, the humor is exaggerated, vulgar, immature, and often absurdly stupid, but its clear energy becomes part of the charm, it doesnt try to sell you an idealized vision of college life or a serious sports series, instead it takes all the excesses of the college environment and pushes them to the limit in a caricatured way, within that, characters like Thad Castle end up being total madness, but unforgettable, Alan Ritchson in that role gives the show a strong identity, and its no surprise he became one of its cult highlights, that mix of total silliness, charisma, and fast rhythm makes it very easy to watch, objectively its not refined or balanced in the classic sense, much of its humor depends on excess, offensiveness, ridiculousness, and stretching juvenile jokes as far as possible, so its normal that many find it dumb, repetitive, or basic, but for me that doesnt take away much because that lack of filter is part of what makes it different, its not a show that tries to appear sophisticated, it goes straight, embraces its ridiculousness, and does so with enough conviction to be memorable, an unrestrained niche comedy thats effective, charismatic, and very aware of its own identity, it has obvious flaws, but also something many more polished series dont achieve, it sticks in memory and ends up being one of those shows that matter more for the experience than for technical correctness.____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ (ESP) Es una sitcom sobre una universidad ficticia y su equipo de fútbol americano, construida alrededor del caos, el descontrol, las fiestas, el sexo, las novatadas y el ego, suena simple, y en parte lo es, pero justamente ahí esta una de sus mayores virtudes, sabe exactamente que clase de serie quiere ser y no pierde tiempo fingiendo otra cosa, tiene una personalidad demasiado marcada, el humor es exagerado, vulgar, inmaduro y muchas veces absurdamente estúpido, pero tiene una energía tan clara que termina volviéndose parte de su encanto, no intenta venderte una visión idealizada de la vida universitaria ni una serie deportiva seria, más bien agarra todos los excesos del ambiente universitario y los lleva al límite de forma casi caricaturesca, y dentro de eso, personajes como Thad Castle terminan siendo una locura total, pero de esas que se vuelven inolvidables, Alan Ritchson en ese papel ayuda muchísimo a que la serie tenga identidad, y no sorprende que con el tiempo se haya convertido en uno de los mayores puntos de culto de la serie, esa mezcla de tontería total, carisma y ritmo rápido hace que entre facilísimo, objetivamente, no es una serie refinada ni equilibrada en el sentido clásico, mucho de su humor depende del exceso, de lo ofensivo, de lo ridículo y de empujar chistes juveniles hasta donde puedan llegar, así que es perfectamente normal que a mucha gente le parezca tonta, repetitiva o incluso básica, pero en mi caso, eso no le resta tanto porque precisamente esa falta de filtro es parte de lo que la hace diferente, no es una serie que trate de aparentar sofisticación, va de frente, abraza su ridiculez, y lo hace con suficiente convicción como para volverse memorable y ser una comedia descontrolada de nicho demasiado efectiva, demasiado carismática y demasiado consciente de su propia identidad, tiene defectos evidentes, pero también tiene algo que muchas series mas correctas no consiguen, se queda en la memoria, y termina siendo una de esas series que valen mucho más por la experiencia que por la corrección técnica.

(ENG) It manages something not easy, being funny, human, and socially sharp at the same time without feeling artificial or excessive, Mo can make you laugh with everyday, absurd, or awkward situations while keeping sight of the emotional weight of what its telling, it doesnt use migration, palestinian identity, or cultural life just as decoration or discourse, it integrates them into the characters daily life, his family, his relationships, and his way of surviving, that makes the series feel close and honest, part of its strength lies in the small, the everyday, and the intimate, but precisely because of that it can sometimes feel a bit too restrained, its short structure and contained tone mean certain conflicts may feel less developed than one would like, i find it a very valuable series with a clear identity, entertaining without sacrificing humanity or context, it works not only as dramedy but also as a personal and cultural portrait with plenty of truth, it feels like a show that aims to connect through experience, humor, and vulnerability.__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ (ESP) Logra algo que no es fácil, ser divertida, humana y socialmente aguda al mismo tiempo, sin sentirse artificial ni tan excesiva, Mo puede hacerte reír con situaciones cotidianas, absurdas o incómodas, pero sin perder de vista el peso emocional de lo que esta contando, no usa el tema migratorio, la identidad palestina o la vida cultural solo como decoración o discurso, los integra en la vida diaria del personaje, en su familia, en sus relaciones y en su forma de sobrevivir, eso hace que la serie se sienta cercana y honesta, parte de su fuerza esta en lo pequeño, en lo cotidiano y en lo íntimo, pero justamente por eso puede dejar la sensación de que a veces se contiene un poco demasiado, ademas su estructura breve y su tono contenido hacen que ciertos conflictos puedan sentirse menos desarrollados de lo que uno quisiera, me parece una serie muy valiosa y con una identidad clara, que logra ser entretenida sin sacrificar humanidad ni contexto, no solo funciona como comedia dramática, sino también como retrato personal y cultural con bastante verdad dentro, siento que es una serie que busca conectar desde la experiencia, el humor y la vulnerabilidad.

(ENG) It has enough to entertain and get some laughs, but it also carries clear limitations that keep it from feeling truly big, the premise is simple and functional, and that very simplicity gives it part of its charm, what helps most is that it doesnt pretend to be more than it is, it works when it focuses on character dynamics, office humor, and that small, everyday chaos that feels like a mix of classic workplace sitcom and messier, lazier comedy, Shane Gillis makes good use of his comic personality, and the clash with Will's character creates genuinely funny moments, this makes the series easy to watch, it doesn’t demand much, it flows quickly, and it has that kind of comedy that connects if you enjoy awkward, immature humor about half failed people trying to get through the day, but its biggest issue is that at times it feels too light or unambitious, yes, its funny, but it doesnt always build characters or situations with enough depth to leave a mark, some scenes feel more like stretched sketches than a solid series, and if you dont connect with Shane Gillis's style much of the appeal fades, i wouldnt call it bad, more like a minor but effective comedy within its niche, simple, inconsistent, sometimes very funny and sometimes too basic._______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________(ESP) Tiene lo suficiente para entretener y sacarte varias risas, pero también arrastra limitaciones claras que impiden verla como algo realmente grande, la premisa es simple y funcional, y justamente esa sencillez le da parte de su encanto, lo que mas le favorece es que no pretende ser más de lo que es, funciona cuando se concentra en la dinámica entre personajes, en el humor de oficina y en esa energía de caos pequeño y cotidiano que recuerda un poco a una mezcla entre sitcom clásica de trabajo y comedia mas sucia y desganada, Shane Gillis explota bastante bien su propia personalidad cómica, y el choque con el personaje de Will genera momentos genuinamente graciosos, eso hace que la serie entre fácil, no exige mucho, se deja ver rápido y tiene ese tipo de comedia que puede conectar bastante si te gusta el humor incómodo, inmaduro y de gente medio fracasada tratando de sobrevivir el día, pero su mayor problema es que por momentos se siente demasiado ligera o incluso poco ambiciosa, si, hace gracia, pero no siempre construye personajes o situaciones con suficiente profundidad como para dejar huella, hay escenas que se sienten más como sketches estirados que como una serie realmente sólida, y si no conectas con el estilo de Shane Gillis, buena parte del atractivo se cae, no diría que es mala, más bien la veo como una comedia menor pero efectiva dentro de su nicho, sencilla, inconsistente, a veces muy graciosa y a veces demasiado básica.

(ENG) This isnt just a stylized series, i've already watched it three times, and this third time was to refresh everything ahead of The Immortal Man, which only confirmed how good it really is, it achieves something few shows manage, a very strong identity, from the music, cinematography, and atmosphere to the sheer presence of Tommy Shelby, everything feels distinct, there may be plenty of excellent crime dramas, but Peaky Blinders doesnt feel like just another one, it has an aura, a way of building tension, and such a marked aesthetic that it becomes unforgettable. What benefits it most is how it layers so many elements without breaking apart, family drama, criminal rise, politics, war trauma, ambition, love, self destruction, and power, Tommy Shelby isnt just a charismatic lead, hes one of those characters who can carry an entire series thanks to the complexity he embodies, cold, calculating, brilliant, but also profoundly broken, he never feels flat, the show also crafts strong supporting figures, Arthur, Polly, Ada, one of my favorites, Alfie, and others, who arent there just to accompany him, but to give more weight to the Shelby world. And importantly, even though the series clearly stylizes its universe, it rarely loses emotional seriousness, when it hits, it hits hard, thats why, even if you come for the style, you stay for the characters, I also value how it improves with rewatching, the first time it impresses with presence and atmosphere, but the second and third viewings let you savor the details, the glances, silences, small decisions, and narrative seeds planted early on, that adds enormous value, its not a series that exhausts itself after one viewing, but one that gains strength once you know the path and can better appreciate how its built. Rewatching before the film made me feel that Tommy's story truly carried significant accumulated weight, which connects perfectly with the movie functioning as an official continuation of the saga, still, there are moments when the series indulges too much in its own style, sometimes more interested in looking imposing than in being fully natural, some seasons or subplots feel less solid than others, and certain narrative choices rely more on intensity than on clean logic, for me, that doesnt detract much, because the show more than compensates with presence, direction, performances, and that melancholic, threatening tone it almost always maintains, its one of those works where even its excesses become part of its charm, proof that it wasnt just good, it was absolutely memorable.

(ENG) I found it an intriguing series within Marvel, its not a sprawling story nor does it try to be the most explosive event in the MCU, but rather something more contained and centered on Simon Williams, an actor with powers who's trying to make his way in Hollywood while keeping them hidden. That premise is one of its greatest strengths, because it sets the show apart from what Marvel usually does, instead of constantly relying on epic scale, the series favors a focus on the entertainment industry, personal ambition, and comedy with a dramatic edge, plus the relationship between Simon and Trevor, which gives it plenty of personality. Still, precisely because its a smaller, different kind of show, it can sometimes feel like it lacks force or weight in certain moments, especially for viewers expecting something more intense, ambitious, or tied to Marvel's spectacle. The very simplicity that makes it special can also work against it, since some stretches feel a little too light and dont always leave as strong an impression as they should. Even so, I think its value lies in its attempt to step outside the mold, it may not be Marvel's most impactful series, but its one with its own voice._____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________(ESP) Me pareció una serie curiosa dentro de Marvel, no es una historia gigantesca ni busca ser el evento más explosivo del MCU, sino algo más contenido y centrado en Simon Williams, un actor con poderes que intenta abrirse paso en Hollywood mientras los oculta, justamente ahí esta una de sus mayores virtudes, porque esa premisa la vuelve diferente a lo que nos tiene acostumbrados Marvel, en vez de apoyarse todo el tiempo en escala épica, la serie apuesta por un enfoque más de industria del entretenimiento, ambición personal y comedia con toque dramático, además de la relación entre Simon y Trevor, que le da bastante personalidad, aun así, precisamente por ser una serie más pequeña y distinta, también puede dar la sensación de que le falta más fuerza o más peso en ciertos momentos, sobre todo para quien espere algo más intenso, más ambicioso o más conectado al espectáculo de Marvel, esa simplicidad que la hace especial también puede jugarle en contra, porque algunos tramos se sienten ligeros de más y no siempre dejan una impresión tan potente como deberían, pero incluso con eso, creo que su valor esta en que si intenta salirse un poco del molde, no será la serie más impactante de Marvel, pero si una con voz propia.

However, I also noticed that at times the plot loses momentum. Some episodes fall flat, and certain subplots lack impact, which slows the overall pace. Additionally, while the cast works well, not all characters reach the same level of depth-some remain mere companions without much development. Even with these flaws, the series maintains a solid level of interest and offers worthwhile moments, especially if you’re drawn to family dramas and power dynamics framed within a strong historical and cultural context. It’s a competent production, with style and visual strength, but it could shine much brighter if it refined its storytelling and gave more balanced attention to all its characters. __________________________________________________________ (ESP) Es una serie interesante, aunque con altibajos claros que la dejan en un punto intermedio, lo positivo es que tiene una ambientación muy cuidada, la estética, los escenarios y la forma en la que retrata el legado familiar y la tradición detrás de la marca Guinness generan un entorno atractivo y con personalidad, la historia también consigue enganchar en varios momentos, especialmente cuando se enfoca en los conflictos de poder, la herencia y las tensiones internas entre los personajes, sin embargo, también noté que en ocasiones la trama pierde fuerza, algunos episodios sus y ciertas subtramas no tienen el mismo impacto, lo que baja el ritmo general, a esto se suma que, aunque el elenco funciona bien, no todos los personajes alcanzan la misma profundidad, quedando algunos como meros acompañantes sin demasiado desarrollo, aun con esos detalles, la serie mantiene un buen nivel de interés y ofrece momentos que valen la pena, sobre todo si te atraen las historias de drama familiar y lucha por el poder enmarcadas en un contexto histórico y cultural fuerte. Es una producción con estilo y solidez visual, pero que podría brillar mucho más si puliera su narrativa y diera mayor equilibrio a todos sus personajes.

Es una serie recomendable para quienes disfrutan de la animación con tintes sobrenaturales y un humor excéntrico, que sin ser una obra maestra, logra ser lo suficientemente atractiva como para destacar dentro de su género.

Plus, the short format leaves no room for filler-every second counts. Even so, for now I give it a 9 and not a 10, because while the overall quality is high, its consistency depends on what comes next. If future seasons maintain this level, it could easily climb in my rating-but it’s also possible it might lose momentum if it doesn’t live up to this first installment. For now, I see it as one of the most compelling animated offerings Netflix has released lately: smart, emotional, and fun. Cada episodio es casi una cápsula que transmite algo claro y contundente, y eso no es fácil de lograr. Lo que más me gustó es que, aunque son historias un tanto diferentes, hay una coherencia estilística y una sensibilidad narrativa que las conecta todas, se sienten humanas, accesibles y en muchos casos sorprendentemente profundas. La animación no es muy detallada, pero funciona con el tono de cada historia, y varía según lo que se quiere transmitir, además, el formato breve hace que no haya espacio para el relleno, cada segundo cuenta. Aun así, por ahora le doy un 9 y no un 10 porque, aunque su nivel general es alto, su consistencia depende del futuro, si las próximas temporadas mantienen el nivel, puede escalar fácilmente en mi valoración, pero también es posible que se desgaste si no logran mantener lo de esta entrega. Por ahora, me parece una de las propuestas animadas más interesantes que ha sacado Netflix últimamente: inteligente, emocional y divertida. Sin duda podría ser un 10.

His arrogance and nihilism genuinely carry emotional weight and real consequences, rather than merely serving as excuses for cynical jokes. The episodes aren’t just clever—they show greater thematic cohesion and a clearer focus. It’s no longer just about parodying genres, but about exploring identity, trauma, and even the idea of change within a universe that at times felt stagnant. There are episodes I found brilliant: one that breaks the fourth wall subtly without going overboard, another where Rick shows unexpected humanity without losing his sarcastic essence, and several more. The animation has also improved noticeably, with more attention to visual detail and creative direction that knows when to go ridiculously epic and when to be intimate and restrained. That said, it’s not perfect—some episodes still dip in quality, especially when they lean into weirdness for its own sake rather than narrative coherence. Even so, these moments don’t overshadow how much the season advances in humor, substance, and overall quality. From an objective standpoint, I’d give it a solid 9. And if I let my personal bias take the wheel, it easily brushes against a perfect 10. _____________________________________________________ (SPA) La temporada 8 de Rick and Morty me sorprendió gratamente, esta entrega recupera gran parte de la chispa original de la serie, pero lo hace con madurez y una evolución narrativa que se siente merecida. Los episodios no solo son ingeniosos, sino que se nota una mayor cohesión temática y un enfoque más claro, ya no se trata solo de parodiar géneros, sino de explorar la identidad, el trauma, e incluso la idea del cambio dentro de un universo que de momentos parecía estancado. Hay capítulos que me parecieron brillantes, por ejemplo, el que rompe con la cuarta pared de forma sutil sin caer en la exageración, o donde Rick muestra una humanidad inesperada sin perder su esencia sarcástica, entre otros más. La animación también ha mejorado notablemente, con más cuidado en los detalles visuales y una dirección creativa que sabe cuándo ser ridículamente épica y cuándo íntima y contenida, sin embargo, no todo es perfecto, pocos episodios siguen teniendo bajones, especialmente cuando intentan forzar una idea más por rareza que por coherencia narrativa, aun así, no opacan lo mucho que esta temporada avanza tanto en humor, en sustancia y calidad. Desde una perspectiva objetiva, le doy un sólido 9. Y si me dejo llevar por mi subjetividad, roza perfectamente el 10.

The standout, without a doubt, is Nam Gi-jun’s role—his performance is restrained yet filled with emotional weight, effectively conveying the torment of a man returning to Seoul’s criminal underworld after a decade of silence. The setting is another strong point—the depiction of the dark streets and the surrounding violence feels raw, real, and well executed, with scenes that seem lifted straight from the webtoon. Moreover, the revenge storyline carries emotional depth, where it's not just about hate, but also guilt and the need for redemption. However, despite the promising start, the narrative falls into a degree of predictability. From the fourth episode on, you can already anticipate betrayals, deaths, and even some twists lose their impact. Several secondary characters, who initially show great promise, end up underused or entirely forgotten, which weakens the overall conflict. And while Gi-jun’s journey is intense, the ending doesn’t quite deliver the emotional punch a story this personal and violent should have. That’s why I give it a 7. It’s a visually solid series with strong performances. If you enjoy crime dramas with a dark aesthetic and broken characters, Mercy For None is worth watching. _ (SPA) Me dejó con una sensación agridulce. Reconozco que la serie tiene elementos potentes, aunque también tropieza en aspectos clave. Lo mejor, sin duda, es el papel de Nam Gi-jun: su actuación es contenida pero cargada de peso emocional, y logra transmitir el tormento de un hombre que regresa al submundo criminal de Seúl tras una década de silencio. La ambientación es otro punto fuerte, el retrato de las calles oscuras y el mundo de violencia que rodea al protagonista se siente real, crudo y bien logrado, con escenas que parecen sacadas directamente del webtoon. A partir del cuarto episodio ya puedes anticipar las traiciones, las muertes, e incluso algunos giros pierden fuerza. Varios personajes secundarios, que inicialmente prometen mucho, terminan siendo subutilizados o totalmente olvidados, lo que debilita el conflicto global. Y aunque el viaje de Gi-jun es intenso, el desenlace no consigue el impacto emocional que debería tener un cierre tan personal y violento. Por eso le doy un 7. Es una serie visualmente sólida y con buena interpretación. Si te gustan los dramas criminales con estética oscura y personajes rotos, Mercy For None vale la pena.
