I loved Bill Hader on SNL and in the movies but this is a drama not a comedy show. Not sure why Hollywood keeps pushing all these show as comedy D'UH! they are dramas. I watched around four or five episodes and maybe laugh twice if that. Henry Winkler does a good job as the acting coach. But not being a comedy really turn me off so stop watching.

The first two episodes were really good then it fell of the side of a cliff or the main writers got fired. No clue why they interduce new characters in a stand alone episode which had nothing to do with rest of series and those characters were actually interesting unlike a lot of character in this series. Yeah I am talking about everyone in commie town. Then Ellie acts like a teenager who grew up in LA instead of a post apocalyptic world which was a really bad writing and the season finale felt super rush. I will not be watching season two.

I gave this series four episodes and stopped watching it. Amanda Seyfried character is so unlikeable. The supporting cast does a pretty good job of trying to save this slow burn of boredom but can't pull it off. This probably would have worked as a two hour movie and not a eight part series.
