Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure8

My kids and I love playing this game. My son went nuts for the characters and loves the mechanic of swapping out his characters on the fly. We enjoy battling baddies together too. This is a great game for playing with your kids. Buying all the characters is a bit expensive, but my son earns them by doing chores and he's never been so happy to do extra work around the house so he can earn his next character!

Classic Halo game. Shooting and aiming is well balanced and I really enjoyed the story, but it did get a bit long in the tooth near the end. Maybe I was just getting tired and wanted to finish. LOL

I wanted this to be a great game for my kids and I to play. However, we found ourselves frustrated at the constant barriers blocking us because we don't own ALL the necessary figures to gain access to large parts of the game experience. My kids were disappointed that they were constantly being blocked access to the game at just about every turn. The cost of the game is WAY too high. Be ready to fork over $200+ just to open up enough of the game experience to feel like you've seen most of the worlds. It's just not worth that much money.

I cannot connect! This is incredibly frustrating. How can you release a game that requires connectivity and not have your back end servers ready and deployed.

My kids LOVE this game. 36 activities that automatically cycle through. My kids and the neighbor kids go crazy playing. Best of all, nobody loses. They just have fun and I don't even need to do any setup to get them started playing. It just works.

Double Fine Happy Action Theater10

My kids 7 and 9 love this game. They just can't get enough of it. But, what I really like are the reactions we had from adults the other night when we had a dinner party. I turned on Happy Action Theater and just let it run in the background. It wasn't long before the entire party moved from the kitchen to the living room and everyone was laughing out loud and having fun. This is an amzaing party game in a deceptively simple and playful wrapper. A must have for every Kinect owner!
