Spintires: MudRunner0
Jul 16, 2020
Retextured Spintires, at least Spintires hasn't been abandoned and left full of bugs. This game is a carbon copy of the original Spintires with little in terms of new content. it is also more expensive then Spintires which makes this game pointless to buy unless you want to play on renamed maps with a slight difference to the original maps on Spintires

Game is awful it has numerous bugs that have existed from launch and haven't been fixed. They added wheel support but all force feedback does is some light resistance on the wheel and you get more feedback from Euro Truck Simulator on a road vs this off-road. They claim a new game engine but it is a slightly modified version of the Vee engine as you can see a lot of the bugs that existed in early Spintires (most of which have been patched out of Spintires now). The graphics are better then mudrunner but for the road its purely a higher quality texture over the same mud so as you drive over it you see the texture stretch. Sure it has a money and a levelling up system but all these negatives drive me away from it and I just can't recommend it to anyone. If you are looking to slowly traverse extreme terrain in large trucks I can only recommend Spintires as it is less then 1/3 of the price and is a lot less buggy

One of the best if not the best games for off-road physics. The game is relatively bug-free and is regularly being updated so most bugs you come across will be fixed within a month or so. You may ask why should I buy this instead of Mudrunner or Snowrunner? Well for one it is cheaper then both games so if you end up not enjoying slowly crawling through mud it is less of a loss. This is also being regularly being updated with bug fixes whereas Mudrunner has been abandoned. Mudrunner is also pretty much a carbon copy of 2017 Spintires so it is quite buggy and won't have the new and improved mud physics. Snowrunner is also only available on the Epic games store and is incredibly buggy
