This is the best game i've played in probably a decade. Simply amazing. Beautiful art, great engaging dialogue and you learn a lot of stuff. The story is fantastic and I would love more like it

I don't follow any of the controversies, I feel like I should state that off the bat. The reason my score is what it is is because the game is simply just bad. It is extremely monitized and the all in all just a massive waste of time

Garbage. Maps are garbage. The lack of guns are garbage. The sPeCiAlIsTs are garbage and don't belong. If you want to play this, I hope you like being spawn killed by armored balloons doing 200mph drifting for hours on end. I jest, I strongly recommend that you DO NOT buy this. It's barely a game at all The maps are so **** bad that on Breakthrough you spawn dead 90% of the time because the spawns are literally 300 meters from any cover and everyone on the map can see you because of this. They're too big and too flat. Ironically the maps you get when you play against bots are about half the size of the official server maps and are 100% better. Still **** terrible because a graphics artist intern made them and not a map designer, but a little better. There is just no flow to the game. The audio is garbage. Especially the voice acting and the specialists. 30 of my clones running around in a post climate change world wrought with resource and land wars and they all have dumb ass quips like it's fun to them. The tone of the game is all over the place and it is grating as **** Their dumb ass quips still persist even if you turn off all dialogue volume. The game is just garbage, made by people who are DICE in name only (no, this isn't even hyperbole, nobody who made a BF game are on this team anymore, they all quit after BF5) I give it a 2/10 or 20% because at least it turns on (0 in reality because 449 people are lying) The only good thing about this game is that Crowbcat will have a lot of content to rip this trash heap apart. Looking forward to his videos on Cyberpunk, New World, COD and BF. AAA gaming is **** dire man. I can't even refund this piece of **** because I stupidly bought it on CDKeys It's not even just the worst Battlefield game ever made - it may actually be one of the worst games ever made. I don't even own this piece of **** but I read the EULA and **** me, this game will tank faster than Anthem. Nobody gives a **** about the campaign, the whole appeal is from costume games, which have by and large been ruined by the fact that everything you do is now owned by these hack frauds who literally haven't made a good game in almost 20 years.

Total **** Game was released an unfinished piece of **** and yet somehow still managed to regress from that state. At least the losers at DICE LA is breaking new grounds at how bad you can be at your job. Honestly, put me in coach, I don't know **** about coding either and I'd like a paycheck for doing **** nothing too!

This game was super boring, played through it in coop with 1-2 other friends. It was repetitive, bland and just a pain to play at most times. There were 1 area that was entertaining, some sort of optional arena thing where your ammo and other such things were limited and respawning prohibited. Other than that, I wouldn't recommend it - even for free

Right. The game has terrible maps, 2 game modes, immensely stupid characters with one button combos which in most instances are impossible to counter. The rock paper scissor balancing is the biggest nuisance in the game, but that is to be expected from Blizzard who are known for atrocious player vs player experiences. The game runs on 20 ticks servers, which is something that should be a thing of the past, basically it is like playing BF2 all over again. You will get shot through walls and behind cover constantly. If you have ever played an FPS before, you will get annoyed with this game almost instantly once you realize that there is no difference between people who are absolutely garbage and people who know what they are doing. Some of the ultimates are literal aimbots, meaning that even if you're the worst player with parkinsons and brittle bone disease you will get easy kills. The skill ceiling of this game is reached within the first few matches. The only competitive thing being the pre-match sitting-around-in-spawn arguing with people trying to make a coherrent team. Not that it matters, as one button ultimates will demolish good or bad alike. I've played CS 1.6, CS:GO and BF2-4 on a very high level and I can without the shadow of a doubt say that this is the worst FPS game I have ever seen. There's no recoil, you don't need to aim as the hitboxes and abilities will do all the work for you, the servers are atrocious 20tick compared to 128 in games like CS, the graphics look like TF2 but use resources like it's the Witcher with hair physics on with useless garbage cluttering the screen at any given time, maps are boring and horribly made with chokepoints. The custom game option is probably the only enjoyable thing about it to play with friends, as you can change the recharge and spawntimes of abilities, but even that gets old quickly due to the lack of content and the AI being absolutely garbage and it only being able to use about a 4th of the heroes in the game. It's overpriced, overhyped and a terrible FPS game. People will tell you that you're "hating on it because it's popular" but these people have no reference as to what a competitive game should offer. TL;DR **** maps, terrible balancing, boring visuals, no progression, no learning or improving one self except for map layout, atrocious matchmaking, terrible voice acting, dumb abilities and ****ty attitudes. Avoid at all cost, until it goes Free-to-Play.

Less **** than The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, and also worse. Basically a short film with no plot to speak of and no game play other than walking around, makes you wonder how this is even a game. 10/10 - Polygon

Alright, so first of the game is free on steam, great. How it got through the greenlight is beyond me, but that has probably got something to do with game journos telling their sheep warriors to get it done. Secondly the game doesn't even work, constant errors when installing and going to the steam forum for the game got me instantly banned straight away for asking why it didn't work. So I decided to look up what it was and last but not least, the game isn't even a game, it's basically a spreadsheat with pre determined phrases that resembles a choose your own adventure book, but with no adventure and a story that makes you want to kill yourself, which is hilarious given the title of the "game".

One of the greatest, most well written stories/dialogue/monologue in gaming history. It may not have aged very well, but at the time, this game was big, looked great and was innovative. The character of Max Payne, in this game is unparalleled by any other. The graphic novel bits are just genius.

This game actually managed to be worse than Saints Row 3. Same stupidly degenerate humor, same bland and empty city. The plot is a terrible ripoff of the Matrix with some of the most loathe some and simple writing seen in a video game to date, it almost rivals the stupidity of Far Cry 3's writing and plot, it's that bad. I thankfully didn't pay money to play this garbage, as it was free on Steam. If I had I would probably have to jump in front of a train to mend the dishonor and regret I bestowed on myself. The game is terrible, cheap and lazy. And it shows. Avoid at all cost

Just awful, was kind off enjoyable for the first few hours it took to run through the game. Then you realize it's always going to be the same linear piece of **** and you get a sour taste of hate and regret in your mouth. After about a month I had entirely forgotten about it, and so had most other people. It's not memorable at all, it's bad. It has little to no replayabilty and is dumbed down so much that it doesn't even make sense to continue after you've tried out all your abilities. Not to mention the stupid DRM and what ever stupid decisions Blizzard decided to implement, I don't remember exactly what they were but I remember them being the dumbest thing I had heard in a long time at the time. Goes to show that you cannot trust professional game reviewers. Avoid at all cost

This is possibly one of the worst written and acted games I have EVER played. The voice acting is so cringe worthy and atrocious that you will end up rooting for the bad guys to kill your character. The combat is much too easy with every human enemy dying in one or two rounds (or arrows) and animals being slightly harder. The graphics are the only thing worth giving a plus for, as the game drags on way too long with the dumbest story you will ever experience. A spoiled rich kid with a prepubescent voice killing off pirates that the local militia apparently aren't capable of. The weapons can all be obtained within a couple of hours as money is everywhere, and the Assassins Creed like radio towers provide them for free. On top of that, the game crashes every two hours without giving you a hint as to why. It makes me wonder if the professional critics played the same game as I did. I give it two points for the graphics, but that is honestly the only redeemable thing about it. The experience was just loathsome, especially the voice acting will make you want to stop playing as soon as anyone talks.
