Speaking of Playboy , the hair and makeup look inspired from 1970s Playboy magazines rather than paintings of the period. What’s with all the half exposed heaving chests? I never saw that in Holbein portraits. Anne Boleyn looks all wrong. Anyone with even a cursory familiarity with her story knows she was famous for her shiny black eyes, and the show even makes reference to them but the actress playing Anne has blue eyes. Couldn’t they at least have given her colored contacts?
