Excellent writing and overall presentation. The game is not easy and will challenge you with its divisive battle system that I personally really enjoy. It’s a celebration of everything Mario with plenty of jokes and events to keep you engaged. Highly recommended.

Potential is there and the music and lore are fantastic or even epic at times. The Rock Paper Scissors mechanics are a bit hit and miss but that’s kind of the charm of the game. It’s Mario Party inspired scoring system at the end of a match needs work though. I love the game and hope they keep evolving it further.

Literally pay no real attention to 70% of the negative reviews. Sekiro is on a class all on it's own and From Software has said countless times that it was targeting pure action, rather than anything you would consider "deep" like countless RPG elements. Sekiro is an Action-RPG and that last part is because of the utility offered by items, prosthetic tools earned throughout the game (which are essentially like spells or weapon morphs in Bloodborne), and other stat related enhancements and even deadly. Sekiro is not Bloodborne, Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, SoulsBorne, wtf-etc! It's masterclass enemy design, animations, stealth, action mechanics, unique NPC quests, and it's "lovely" killer roosters :) not to mention some of the best fuc*** boss battles I've played in a video game! If you don't like sekiro, sekiro doesn't care... you already 死
