LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is one of the best entries in the LEGO series in years. Visually striking and atmospheric, which makes all the difference when we're talking about Gotham City, with spectacular graphics, dynamic combat, sharp humor, and a genuine celebration of decades of Batman lore. Solo or in good company, it's a hard game to put down, whether for long-time fans or for those discovering the Dark Knight for the first time.

eFootball Kick Off doesn't try to compete directly with the giants of the genre in terms of content or licensing. Instead, it delivers a focused, accessible, and technically solid experience where it matters most, on the pitch. Smooth 60fps gameplay, combined with a more straightforward approach and a competitive price point, make it a highly appealing proposition, especially for those who value local multiplayer and are looking for a football game free from the obligations that come with the dominant live-service models on the market.

While cinema is still searching for a new Bond, the studio IO Interactive has already found its virtual version. Rebellious and arrogant, Patrick Gibson does a fantastic job in the shoes of Her Majesty's secret agent without needing to wear a tuxedo, in a well-crafted adventure that marks the beginning of a new era for 007 in video games. With gameplay that cleverly distances itself from what we already know from Hitman to embrace a stronger narrative and the cinematic moments immortalized on the big screen, 007: First Light didn't need a license to dazzle.

Yoshi and the Mysterious Book stands out as one of the most relaxing and visually captivating titles from this early stage of the Nintendo Switch 2's lifecycle. It is an experience packed with a remarkable variety of ideas and clever little challenges provided by the magical world of Mr. E. Although it lacks some of the depth and challenge that Nintendo fans are used to finding in the company's platformers, its superb level design, mechanical variety, and artistic quality make it well worth checking ou, perhaps you'll even find in it the blueprint for the future of Yoshi's core gameplay.

By the sixth lap, there’s no stopping Playground Games. With Forza Horizon 6, the studio proves once again that they are perfectly comfortable behind the wheel of the franchise. This virtual rendition of Japan is a true treasure trove, packed with toys to collect, vistas to admire, and plenty of rubber to burn—guaranteed to please both arcade racing enthusiasts and fans of more detailed simulations.

Without straying from the excellent formula they gave us in Returnal, Housemarque has delivered a spiritual successor in Saros that achieves the rare feat of improving in almost every aspect. At the same time, it is far more accessible and respectful of the player's time, without ever diluting the level of challenge and adrenaline the studio is known for. Frenetic from start to finish, Saros leaves us with that "just one more run" itch while simultaneously inviting us to discover all its secrets through a narrative that starts slow but ends up being truly surprising.

Replaced is a beautiful retro cyberpunk adventure, with visuals that suit it down to the ground and world-building that pleasantly surprises. Despite a few flaws, the combat and platforming sections are competent and satisfying, even if they fail to lend a more consistent pace to the narrative, which drags in its slower moments. Even so, Replaced isn’t long enough to irreversibly tarnish what is a highly recommended experience.

In short, Pragmata is a brave victory for Capcom, which continues its winning streak in 2026. It is a game with a strong personality that refuses to follow the generic formulas of today's market, choosing instead to focus on inventive combat mechanics and a genuine relationship between its characters. While the short duration and some repetition might be downsides for some, the soul of Pragmata lies in its originality and the mastery with which it blends puzzles and pure action, seasoned by a story of a relationship that crosses the human and the cybernetic, leaving no one indifferent.

Beyond being a strong contender for the Guinness record for the longest video game title ever, Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park is an excellent example of what a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition should be. It offers more than enough content to surprise veteran players with new features and encourage them to approach the original adventure in fresh ways, while also standing as a complete and absolutely essential package for those who have never played it.

Crimson Desert is an ambitious game that tries to be (almost) everything at once, only to ultimately buckle under the weight of its own complexity. Although its story is disjointed and uninteresting, the game is ultimately saved by a complex and almost always entertaining combat system, which rewards us as we master it better. Added to this is an overwhelming and visually stunning world, which only needed a bit more narrative coherence to become memorable.
