Its multiple charms are so sly, the performances so perfectly unflashy, you’ll likely be surprised at how affecting it becomes in its final stages.

Be content with flirtation because it’s more than enough when coupled with a pair of the most charming performances of the year.

Tramps is a minor effort loaded with small pleasures, but tallied together, those small pleasures add up to one great movie.
